If you're standing somewhere on the streets or the sidewalks or maybe even inside some shops, you might notice a blonde-haired girl in the distance running towards you.. except she doesn't seem to notice you in return, so she ends up running right into you at full speed, with enough force that knocks her back to land on the ground on her butt with a slight whine.

I'm not aware on how the passing of time here relates to the passing of time in our home worlds, but for the time being there isn't much to do other than deal with it.

But.. um, what's the name of this place, then? And how did we end up here?

This is Prospero. Most of us were estranged from our native worlds into this place, but nobody has been able to tell me why.

You'll find there are quite a few others here. It's not as terrible as it could be, as long as you are mindful of the nights.

... What's so bad about the nights, though? Are there a lot of gangs around here?

The nights in Prospero are not normal. An hour a day, the sky changes colors, and monsters named Shadows come out.

The best way to avoid them is to stay inside, so if you aren't interested, or cannot fight, I would recommend that.

[ Well, of course shadows would come out at night, but.. Shadow monsters..? ]

Are they dangerous to the people here..? I mean.. then I definitely can't leave it alone.

Normal people get turned into coffins during that hour, and the Shadows ignore them. Only the ones that were brought here like us remain awake and in their true forms during this time.

Huh, how strange.. Then it's almost like they want us to fight them, right? If we were allowed to just ignore them, we could be made into those.. coffins too. [ there's a shudder down her spine - the idea of a coffin sounds very.. awkward. ]

That's what many think, that they bring us here to fight the Shadows. Still it is nothing but a theory.
