[Did somebody say muuuuurders? Well, one person isn't really giving too much of a fuck! Spoilers: it's the dude who looked at a Lovecraftian serial killer taking a bus full of children into a forest and mostly just thought about how unclassy it was. Well, no one ever accused Kayneth of having basic empathy! It's not like anyone he cares about has been attacked yesterday and the day before it, after all.

Granted, there's only one person who he really cares about, and he's currently running errands for her on account of her injury (oh god oh man). Really, he wouldn't lower himself to this sort of thing under normal circumstances, but, well, circumstances call for it.

So it shouldn't be too difficult to run into him somewhere in the city throughout the day, whether it be shopping for clothes that can easily be altered to hide the fact that the wearer's missing a hand, looking for various left-handed supplies, stopping for tea, or generally being in a very bad mood. Oh wait, that last one applies to all of it...]

You don't have to tell me twice. I assume you're talking about recent events rather than the situation in general, though?

Yes, I was referring to the more recent events. After all, the more general danger does not appear until midnight.

Those were the ones I was talking about. Of course, I assume that the danger related to that would take place at night as well-unless the killer's either incredibly skilled or incredibly stupid.

I would say they are skilled to take out this many people. [ He didn't know them personally, but still.. If they were people others who were pulled in here like them knew, they must at least have been capable of defending themselves somewhat, right? ]

But it is better to be cautious under any circumstances.

Oh, of course-but you're still going to have people running into danger in some misguided attempt at heroism. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the deaths were from people doing just that.

Still, for their lives to be wasted like this.. It is unacceptable.

Someone will organize some sort of mob track the killer down sooner or later, I'm sure.

The question is merely how long it will take until such a thing happens. I am sure the killer will not just sit around and wait as people organize it.

You underestimate the power of mob mentality.
