[It is a lovely evening in Prospero tonight, isn't it? The stars are shining, the night air is cool, and oh my what's that up in the night sky. It almost looks like something is falling towards the ground very, very quickly and

THUD.

welp. It looks like some poor Kid fell out of the sky and faceplanted right in the middle of an alley. Stranger still, he gets up like nothing happened at all. Frankly, he looks more confused about his surroundings than falling out of the sky, since that wasn't at all unusual for where he was from. He'd start to wander around the city streets like a lost puppy, occasionally stopping to stare at the strange buildings and people around him. You may also notice a slight stumble in his step and lots of bruises on him.]

[Video - An Hour Later]

[The screen turns on, but looks a little bit blurry. If you squint, it looks like someone's shaking the device and hitting it against something, creating a nicely irritating audio feedback as well. That is, incredibly loud ringing and thud noises. Finally, he'd stop and the picture would clear up, revealing the Kid's face looking at the screen in obvious confusion, befuddled by this newfangled gadget. When he realizes some faces are staring back at him, his expression turns from confusion to slight embarrassment.

[and Cirno makes a wish on what she thinks is a shooting star.... except that shooting star is a kid falling from the sky. When she hears the thud, she goes rushing in the source of the noise, hoping that her wish of a million popsicles was granted. She's... disappointed to find a kid there in his stead. And she goes to the most logical conclusion! She's mad.]

[The Kid just looks at the girl accusing him of eating...popsicles? That just don't seem right. He falls off the Bastion and lands who-knows-where and now someone is calling him a thief. He raises both of his arms a little defensively.]

I...did? Um, sorry? [He's trying to use manners. He never quite took those lessons to heart and it shows.]

[Oh hey the tiny people in the gadget are talking to him. He just shrugs in response to his injuries.]

Where am I? Where's the Bastion? [Because that's more important than nearly breaking a few bones from the drop.]

I'm afraid you're now stuck in a city called 'Prospero', far away from the Bastion that you're looking for. We're all in the same boat.

Oh. [He's in momentary disbelief, but The Calamity already murdered any possible skepticism he might've had. Plus, you know, nearly the entire living population of his world.]

Fair enough. If you can tell me what street signs your near I can give you directions to the hotel. It's a safe place and they let us transplants stay there for free while we get our bearings in this city.

During the day this city is like any other, bustling crowds, traffic, that sort of thing. But there exists here an extra hour that starts at midnight. The normal citizens of this place are transformed into coffins and monsters roam the streets.

They're hostile through and through so don't engage them unless you intend to fight.

[Pfft. Nothing he couldn't handle, between creatures in The Wilds and the well-armed Ura in the Tazal Terminals. He could face down any monster with a hammer and some...

Kid finally realizes his body is a few pounds lighter, briefly searching himself and finally looking a little worried. Plus a little upset.]

...where's my hammer? And my guns?

They probably didn't come with you, but there are ample ways to get replacements here, so don't worry about that too much.

Also...any other abilities that make you different from normal humans have probably been taken away as well.
