This is a rather interesting device.

[Jin's voice is calm, almost inviting. He seems entirely unconcerned about the situation, which, maybe he is. Or maybe he's just knows how to keep a straight face.]

I'm sure you hear this quite often, but I'm rather interested in this new land, Prospero. Would you mind telling me a little more about it?

[While he spends a little time information gathering outside.]

What do you know about Earth in general, to begin with?

Well well well...there's a voice I never expected to hear again. But I'm sure that's mutual, right Uzuki?

Well, for one thing, we're on Lost Jerusalem in the twenty-first century AD. I know it sounds a little far fetched, but it's actually the least strange of the things going on here.

[Immediate interest piqued.]

Yeah. For one thing, we're in a different universe and there are people here from worlds completely different from our own.

For another, there's an extra hour in the day that the people native to this place can't experience. The rest of us have to deal with monsters called Shadows swarming everywhere. And on top of that, our Ethers normally don't work. Instead we can learn to summon something called a Persona during that extra hour.

In that case, welcome to Earth. It is a planet dominated by humans as the only intelligent species, and the only planet they have yet traveled to with such intelligent life.

[That is the worst part of seeing him here. Not that the man might be up to something--he remembers the words spoken then, knows that isn't what he must worry about. It's that after all that, Margulis wasn't able to find the peace he'd earned, the peace they all sought in some form.]

[Strange, but not that weird. Well, that extra hour is pretty weird and Ethers not working is a problem but...]

An extra hour... where do we find these Persona? And are we able to combat the Shadows, even without one?

*He gives a bitter, pained chuckle. The idea that he wouldn't remember...well, maybe Jin had already learned of the time differences here. Though this at least confirmed that Jin wasn't from his past.*

I think the first summoning is triggered by some kind of strong emotional stress. And you technically can fight Shadows without a Persona, but it's a lot harder. Especially since some of them are immune to physical attacks.

If you want a nice greeting, you should try to be more understanding of your sister's feelings. You weren't exactly nice to me back on Miltia, you know.

[Even though Saori hasn't met Jin personally, she's rather surprised in seeing him. Blame it on an event where Shadows impersonated several people, including Jin. Despite that though, Saori smiles.]

There's quite a lot to learn. Everyone on this network was brought here from different worlds and different times. Unfortunately, we don't know why or how whoever brought us here. Not to mention under normal circumstances, anyone with latent powers will have them stripped away.

First things first though, I'm Saori.

[She can't mean... he is clearly confused.]
