[Ledah is more than capable of focusing enough to write in an old angelic script, and holds up a piece of paper to the camera with characters appearing much like those. Nobody else here will have a clue what that says, but given what happened last night, the translation should be apparent:

'Rest in peace.']

What happened back there? [That part he says aloud, sounding confused. As well he should.]

[April peers at the paper for a moment, though she already kinda has an idea of what it says after what she saw last night, before she shakes her head.]

No idea, but I do know that it was really weird.

To say the least. I should be thankful for being able to avoid an unpleasant battle, but I only have more questions instead.

It's strange, my guess is that it's some sort of message or something but I wonder what those five cups were supposed to mean...

[... Oh, she's got an idea!] Ah, I'm just gonna quickly look up something. [There's some movement as she stands and some shuffling and when the video focuses again it shows her typing on a computer (since she's once again in the library).]

... Huh, I think I might have found something, though it's a bit odd.

In my experience, we've never been confronted with something like this on a night when a Shadow should by all logic appear.

I suppose we cannot count on something attempting to kill us to be consistent.

Well, I did a search and the five cups from last night might be linked to this thing called a 'tarot card', since there's a card called the 'five of cups'.

[She peers at the computer screen as she frowns a bit.]

The five of cups seems to signify loss and disappointment, and it can indicate an inability to move forward... Hmmm, well the inability to move forward might make sense, since the stairs were blocked... [Yeah, she's gonna think over this some more.]

It could mean a number of different things. Tarot cards exist in my world, although I've never given them much credence as fortune-telling.

[Sometime they provide decent attacks, however.]

Whatever it was, it worries me.

I have no idea, but it was creepy even by my standards. Where was the big Shadow?

There seems to have been none, or else a particularly cowardly one.

Doesn't that mean we should be hunting it down? It's gotta be somewhere! Feeling this touchy-feely isn't natural!

Hmmm... [She turns back towards the video with a frown as she rubs her forehead. She was so not good at this sort of thing, but something about this was bugging her.]

Ugh, this is confusing and I think I've only made more questions for myself... Maybe it's a case of we're just gonna have to wait and see what happens next, though I'm gonna keep trying to figure this out.

It may take us some time, but we will discover the meaning. I have confidence in [us] that.

It's the most likely source of answers, even if that likelihood is still small.

I can read this old angelic script for formal proclamations by the gods and the magi, as well as the more common one used on Asgard and by sprites in Riviera, and another script demonic in origin.

What do they say? I can only read the ones in English and can guess at the ones in Latin.

Same as the others. A very strange and foreboding statement.

Mmmm. We should be wary these next few weeks. Keep an eye on what's happening in that dungeon.
