[A very, very large stack of books sits behind V/V in her hotel room. She faces the camera.]

First, does anyone know how to successfully advertise? There wasn't anything like it on Venus, of course, since that would have been ridiculous. And I really want to do a good job for Gilgamesh, or he'll probably get mad... [As an aside:] Do you think he'd throw me out the window too? That would hurt more this time.

Um, second. Since there are a lot of books that weren't good enough to be in our store, or I guess that's the reason he gave them to me, if anyone wants to check some of them out I'd be happy to let anyone have them. Please stop by. It's nice to see people, too!

[FACEPALM.]

Did he honestly get rid of that many? We're all going to be out of a job...
croibhristeoir: (tell me what it is you have in store)

If he insists on running the bookstore like that, none of us are going to have one.

Heh, it takes a lot of effort to get people into your store. First, you gotta get their attention somehow. Fortunately, I'm the best that there is at doing that.

You shouldn't have to. We really should try to get them back into the store somehow.

Well the easiest thing to do is go outside dressed in something eye catching, then just start yelling at people and asking them to come in. Tell them how much fun everything is at your store, and how all the other stores are terrible and full of cockroaches or something.
croibhristeoir: (look so fine; really wanna make you mine)

Considering I doubt Archer is the most attentive of people, that does sound possible.
croibhristeoir: (steady but i'm starting to shake)

Perhaps tonight before the Dark Hour?

Very well.

...How did he talk you into getting involved with this, incidentally?

[identity profile] nomammano.livejournal.com 2011-12-08 04:25 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, that's the spirit. It's gotta be a costume that says your store is a lot of fun, and that catches people's eyes.
croibhristeoir: (so in a word don't shed a tear)

...what on earth is a mascot?

[identity profile] nomammano.livejournal.com 2011-12-08 04:28 am (UTC)(link)
Man, too bad you didn't do this a few months ago, when all of those costume stores were open. They had all sorts of cool things you could dress up as, clowns, giraffes, superheros...

I've never heard of such a thing. Really, you shouldn't get involved with Archer--he's dangerous.

Who wouldn't want to buy books from a giraffe? If I saw a giraffe advertising bookstore I would definitely go in there.
