tvk | one [accidental video]

[it's early evening when leanne finds herself in prospero, and instead of her handgun, she now has a cellphone. a device she has no idea how to use or what it even is. see, they don't have this type of technology in basel. so after hitting quite a few buttons on the little device, her face can be seen in deep concentration as she accidentally begins broadcasting a video. she whines now.] It says 'Video' but nothing's happening~

[the video shakes and pans out to show the sky as she continues talking to herself.] Oh-! I can take pictures!? I'm going to take all sorts of pictures for Zephyr- oops! [the video swirls around before falling still against the ground, leanne can be seen on the video partially hidden behind grass until she picks the phone up again.]

I hope I didn't break it... [she plays with the phone some more, her face only partially shown with the sky as a backdrop.] Wow, this thing has everything! I wonder what 'Email' is? And 'Voicemail' for that matter... I can send my voice in a letter? Wait- what's this?

[the camera moves and shows her entire face as she squints at it now. her eyes widen a bit after a moment.] Oh! Can other people see this?! [she smiles and waves with her free hand.] Hi whoever is watching! Zephyr and Vashyron, if you're seeing this- don't worry, I'm okay!

[oh no how does reply back. it's a few minutes before she finally manages to read the message and reply.]

Basel, huh? What kind of place is that?

[she's surprised by that. how does this person not know what basel is.]

[and something occurs to her again now that she's thinking about it.]

I've never heard of it, so obviously not everyone does.

Why's it so bad?

I don't see anybody getting sick right now. Maybe we're far enough away that everything's clean without it.

[well, that sounds plausible... all she really knows is what she's been told.]

The world's bigger than anybody realizes, and has more variety.  A lot of people just go through the same old same old without thinking about it - so if you can learn something new here, then that's good, right?
