Before I arrived here, I had made the decision to stay in a place that would mean the end of my life. It had been my choice, and a choice I would make again. That was in 1986, but here, with the New Year, it's 2012. It sounds strange, but I don't remember any of it... I feel as if I should, but I don't.
And I had a sister... she would be 42 now. I don't regret my decision, but does being here mean I was wrong? Did I leave her behind for nothing? I don't know what to make of this island what happens once midnight comes, but I know I want to return there.
Someone told me that there are people here from different worlds. How true is that for you? How many of you were alive before you came here? What do you remember? Have you tried to see your families again? Even though I've heard that some have had no luck in finding them.
As much as I would like to see how my sister has grown, I don't know if it would be right to. She's had a long life without me, maybe one with even a family of her own... I can only hope that she's okay right now and nothing has happened to her.

That doesn't mean this is our world, but it makes me curious how long this has been going on for. Would you happen to know anything?

But where do we begin to solve this mystery? I can't figure out where to start.

If you saw these apparitions first hand, might I ask for more detail about how it did these things?

How real did they look?

Have you ever heard of any similar cases to that?

It's strange to believe, but if what you say is true, it would make sense that all our families and friends could really be missing like this. But if someone or something could do something like this, what is the reason for it? Can only people from other worlds see the events that happen at night?

It appears that we are indeed alone in being privy to the Dark Hour's existence, save of course whomever or whatever might be responsible for this mass kidnapping. The coffins that one can see during the Dark Hour are either the natives preserved or transformed; as we're unable to open them, we cannot easily determine which with certainty.
Because of this fact, to attempt to discuss Personas, Shadows, and the Dark Hour with those native to this world is counterproductive in most cases. One of the few exceptions is the proprietor of Felix's Finds; while he doesn't understand the situation, neither does he believe that we aren't in need.

Be aware, however, that I will not stand for abuse of his wares.

It would be good though if there was a way to have information there ready for when people need it.

In my case, I technically died in my home world upon coming here. My family is all but gone in my home world, having died before then. I would've said this could be considered as a kind of afterlife but seeing how many people say they were alive before coming here, I'm sure that's not the case. This place seems to pick up people whenever it deems it fit to.
