[A; text; morning]
I hope everyone's doing well after all that's happened. Given the current situation, I'd like to offer combat training to those who need it. If there is anything I can do to help in that respect, let me know.
[B; action; late afternoon]
[Lancer had gotten himself a part-time job at a bookstore under the name 'Diarmuid Campbell' some time ago--aside from the obvious need for some source of money, there were things about this era the Grail hadn't seen fit to give him knowledge of. What better location than that to fill in the blanks and be a little less clueless about how to seem like a normal human.]
[Admittedly, the wire-framed glasses he was currently wearing may have been overdoing it. His eyesight was fine and the lenses did basically nothing. But Lancer had assumed two things: gold eyes weren't normal and so perhaps this would make the color a little less obvious. Secondly, someone in glasses might have seemed completely harmless. If there were people like the Master of that deplorable Servant Caster in the city, maybe being a little more subtle for now was the best plan.]
[He walked back in the direction of the hotel with a couple of books under one arm, in civilian clothes and trying to look as unnoticeable as possible. The former Servant felt defenseless without his Noble Phantasms or superhuman abilities, especially knowing someone like that was in the same city at that moment. Though he didn't much like the plan of hiding out until a better option presented itself, as a human in this situation there was little other option.]

he looks like he might be busy, so she only intends to greet him as she walks past and be on her way. ] Good evening, Lancer.

Especially since the man before her knows she's ... not an Arthur. ]
... Lancer.

Saber. [He gave her a slight smile, calm and respectful. He did have a reason or two to fight her, but Lancer knew now was neither the time nor the place. He certainly wouldn't be attacking her without fair warning and preparation on both sides at the very least.]

Reading? [ In a tone that's delightfully surprised, not one to tease or mock. The lingering stress between the two (the undecided battle) strained them in a way that made it problematic to run into him like this. What if he were to suddenly thrust towards her?
She would defeat him.
It would just be annoying to be caught off guard in her work shoes. ]
[action]
In short, trying not to look like an idiot. [A little blunt, maybe, but it was beginning to annoy him.] After all, the existence of Servants isn't something I'd care to see exposed even with stranger things than the war going on here.

Ryuunosuke didn't look particularly like he recognized Lancer, but he did wave his hand in greeting.] Yo.

[He didn't particularly like being all that vague, but it was better that than sound completely insane by being up front about it all.]
Specifically after midnight?

In the time they'd been there, Ainosuke had picked up the job he was most familiar with. He'd delivered papers back home to make some spare money (though his brother had left him with plenty). The job also had the advantage of helping him become more familiar with the town.
This was one of his last stops of the morning, since it was one of the places that required quite a few papers. Delivering in a place this large was a lot different than how things had been back home...
Ainosuke still couldn't help but wonder what was happening in his absence. It was something that kept pulling at him whenever there wasn't something to distract him with. Maybe everyone thought he was dead.
Taking a deep breath, Ainosuke dusted his hands on the side of his pants, then turned and started to walk right back out.]

[Not quite who the glasses-wearing Servant had expected to run into through mere chance. But he wouldn't complain about it, of course.]
[Well, no better time than the present to find out just how ridiculous he probably looked with the attempt at a civilian disguise.]

You look different...

Some things came up that kind of needed me to make a few changes.
['Things' here meaning 'avoiding Caster's batshit crazy Master'.]
How are you doing?
