[There is a rather confused young woman, standing just inside of the entrance to Prospero's hotel, and she is holding a cellphone. She is gingerly pecking at it, as if the thing could explode should she not use it correctly. She can see posts by other people, but she can't figure out how to respond or how to make her own.

Eventually she does manage to start a feed, but she's still not really sure if she's doing it right.]

Umm... Hello? Phone people? Can you hear me?

If anything it was just plain old space magic, an invisible charity man sounds far too farfetched.

Oh! But I can't call anyone from home. I'm not sure it's really magic...

If the phone was given to you by magic, it does not mean it is magic on itself.

Oh... [Well, that's a little disappointing. A magic phone with no magic.]

Why did magic give everyone here a phone?

The panicking is optional, but the chance is there.

I've seen transmissions about some people who have left this place, not that I know how, so just make sure of staying alive until then.
