15: Food for Family [action + text]

[Saori's used to waking up early in the morning, but with Miki out of jail, she couldn't help but whip up something special for the occasion. If anyone happened to pass the hotel kitchen, they could hear her at work. Why was she up? She was making boxed lunches for her family. Heck, she made even extras just in case. Got to account for all the cousins and possible grandkids(?!).

Once she was done, she went to each hotel/dorm/apartment door from dear lovely grandma Bridget to the brother she clashed with the most, Gilgamesh and knocked. Sirius tagged along with her as well.]

Good morning. Sorry if I woke you early. I made lunch today.

Does anyone happen to know if there are places hiring? I'd like to give Miki some help with finding a new job.

[Bridget's room was on the first floor to minimize how much walking she had to do. She opened the door promptly.]

That's wonderfully sweet of you, dear. Would you like to come in?

Aunt Saori, thank you very much!

[Yay for floormates! She smiles. Just to be safe, she lets Sirius wait outside. ]

I guess for a little while wouldn't hurt. How are you feeling, grandma?

I'm doing fine. Everyone here is so lovely and helpful for getting me settled in.

Anytime, brother. I made extra, so would you like to take one for April?

[Smile.] I'm sure she would like that.

You're very welcome, sweetie. Your dad's not causing trouble now, is he?

[Heehee.]

I'm sure he's been good.

That's great to hear. Now if anyone dares to give you any trouble, let me know, okay?

I'm sure things will be fine.

[ Her knocking is going to get a rather annoyed: ]

What?

[ shouted from inside the room as Lindsey pulls the covers back over his head ]

I said I brought you lunch, I guess this might be your breakfast with how you're sleeping now. Open up or you won't get any.

[ She sighs in exasperation and Sirius makes a wuff noise in agreement.]

[ He grumbles something that could be "give me a fucking minute", but it's hard to tell. A moment later, the door swings open.

It's clear he just rolled out of bed, what with the way his hair is everywhere, and the fact that he's missing his usual dark glasses, revealing his light blue eyes, and the minor scarring around them. ]

Do you have any idea what time it is? [ enlighten him, please, because he doesn't know himself ]

Sorry, but I can't help but worry. I know there are some unsavory people here who might take advantage of you.

Everyone I've met so far has been so kind - would they really hurt me?

[She pulls out another boxed lunch from her giant bag she's toting all over the place.]

Here you go. Tell her I said hello for me, will you?

I promise I will. Take a break every now and then - our family is fairly large.

[Saori beams at her "son" and Sirius also barks a hello as well.]

You're welcome. Did you want to bring some for your friends? I have a few extra to spare.

[She looks at her phone for the time.]

Seven o'clock. It's not that early...but here.

[She gives him his lunch.]

Sorry for that awakening but I wanted to give them out before work.

I'm sure he is. He knows what'll happen if he does so.

[As his sis, its natural for her to he dubious about him. Also Sirius tagged along because he can.]

I wrote him a song. Do you think he'll be happy?
