[Those familiar with the Fatal Frame games who play them in Prospero should recognize this face.
It is the face of a young girl huddled in the corner of a dark building with the phone clutched in her hand.
Around her, there are some broken doll arms, as well as a few said, dolls scattered around her body with blood smeared on some.
She doesn't know where she is, much less realizes that she's no longer on the island. If anything, a faint sniffle can be heard from the girl.
She's in a bit of a shock.]

You're nice too, Ayako. Alice likes you.
Something bad musta happened, because Alice ended up in a place like wonderland after that. That's all before Alice came here to Prospero, though. It's kinda hard to remember everything.
no subject
... I like you too. [Definitely. She was not like any of the other girls back on the island. Which was nice.]
Wonderland? What's what?
no subject
And this place is also like a new wonderland. Alice thinks there must be bunches of different wonderlands--maybe not just the place I read about.
no subject
The streets, and everything. The people here were... actually nice, and not forced to do anything for her. They were doing it by their own will.]

Alice was with Alice last time, so I hoped Alice would be here, too. But she's not.
Do you have anybody you miss, Ayako?
no subject
[... Oh. That question. That question.]
My... mommy. [She hated to sound utterly weak right now. Especially when she was alone and off her island where people didn't know her. Alas...] She died before I got here.
no subject
[Alice smiles a little sadly and squeezes the girl's hand comfortingly.]
Alice's sorry. Alice doesn't have a mommy or daddy anymore, either.
no subject
[It must have been lonely. Making new friends and then... being left alone. Though... Ayako never felt anything like that. Even if she didn, she sure in hell didn't know what it was.]
It's okay. I'm sorry for you too. [At the comfort, she hid her smile underneath her other sleeve.] ... Maybe we can find a family.
no subject
Alice was lonely and sad when Alice didn't come with me to this place. But Alice might still show up someday!
[yes, she's determined that will be the case.]
But the people here are real nice--Alice knows you can make bunches of friends too. It'll be like a big family!
no subject
[TIME PARADOX... Does not understand.]
Y-Yeah... [Ayako can't help but find herself laugh at Alice's words. If only because she is somewhat terrible to the people she befriends. Of course, she doesn't really feel the effect of being sadistic toward Alice right now.] One big family.
no subject
...Alice will still come help Alice if Alice ever needs her. [Yes she wants to believe this.
And she smiles at Ayako to reassure her that things will be fine.]

Is it fun to have a sister?
no subject
[She's grinning a huge happy grin saying all this, but then it drops into a smaller, almost shy smile when she says the next part.]
...Alice was the one who helped Alice not be lonely anymore.

[The little girl's expression... Something about being happy was somewhat foreign to her. Er. well. Breaking things made her happy, but it wasn't true happiness like what seem to appear on Alice's face.]
Is that... what happiness is? Were you happy?
no subject
But it still got lonely sometimes. Having lotsa people around is nicer than just having two people, 'cause some games can't be played with just me and Alice.
Alice is happy here. Are you happy, Ayako...?
no subject
[Er. well. she was kind of a danger to everyone, so... fun... times.
At the question, she makes a face. Some sort of surprise that someone even asked that.]
... I don't know. I'm only happy when I break things and turn them beautiful.
[She's quiet. Looking to the floor like she did something wrong. Because. Quite frankly, she was feeling differently now that she was here.] I don't know what being really happy is.
no subject
...Breaking stuff makes you happy? [A pause.] Then break stuff! Alice doesn't think that's bad as long as it can be fixed later on. Maybe when it's fixed it'll make you really happy?
no subject
[Or something like that. She lacks empathy, yadda yadda. Whatever the doctor said to her resonated with her. She never really thought about it until now.]
Things look pretty when they're broken. ... But the doctor said I break things to cope with my illness.
no subject
...What kinda illness did you have? Is it gone, now?
no subject
[She blinks. Thinking back on the name.] ... Getsuyuu Syndrome. It made me incomplete.
no subject
[A reassuring smile.]
Incomplete...? What was missing?
no subject
I'm not whole. Most of my memories are blank. [A good majority, now that she thought about it.]
... I'm not a very nice person because of it.
no subject
...Alice doesn't remember a lot of stuff, either. Does that make Alice not whole, too?
[A pause. She thinks. Poor girl's died twice so lots of her memories are muddled and mixed with fantasy. Her smile soon returns.]
Even if we don't remember all the things we should, we can always make new, better memories to fill up the empty space!
