[ It doesn't matter where you are in the city. Just as long as you're not only inside today, you might find yourself meeting a new person rather abruptly. Or rather, by them bumping into you.

If you're standing somewhere on the streets or the sidewalks or maybe even inside some shops, you might notice a blonde-haired girl in the distance running towards you.. except she doesn't seem to notice you in return, so she ends up running right into you at full speed, with enough force that knocks her back to land on the ground on her butt with a slight whine.

[Kaiji here is just minding his own business, browsing some Valentine's Day displays intently in the shop windows, when suddenly COLLISION! He doesn't fall down, but he does stagger a bit.]

[ Usagi is about to whine on the ground, but-- oops, this guy looks angry, better apologize first, right? ]

[ Patting her clothes now, and-- oh, she finds one in her pocket, pulling it out. ]

S-so we're all kidnapped here? You too? And.. the other people in this town as well?

Yeah. We don't know how, or why who. But they know who we are and how to drag us from all over the damned universe, cuz they set us up a place to live and these phones. I know it sounds crazy, but it's true.

So.. it's even some other sort of world we're all dragged into? Kidnapped, but given places to stay, and phones..

Wah, this is all so confusing.. [ Holding her head for a moment. ]

Y-Yeah, tell me about it. I've been here since August and I still don't get all of it. And... it gets weirder. Just wait till midnight.

Wait, you're saying something happens at midnight?

... Does this entire place turn into some kind of giant disco or something like that?

If only it was something so harmless. It's... basically, there's monsters. Shadows, we call 'em.

Monsters?! And.. they're dangerous to the people here?

Only to those of us on the network. The other people... They don't know it's happening. And they're safe from the monsters.

Still.. even if it's just us, that means there are still people in danger because all those monsters are around, doesn't it? Something like that isn't right..!

Sometimes, yeah. Around the full moon, sometimes even weirder shit happens. Like evil twins 'n' shit. And no, it ain't right at all. We're trying to figure it all out, but there's not a lotta leads.
