[ It doesn't matter where you are in the city. Just as long as you're not only inside today, you might find yourself meeting a new person rather abruptly. Or rather, by them bumping into you.

If you're standing somewhere on the streets or the sidewalks or maybe even inside some shops, you might notice a blonde-haired girl in the distance running towards you.. except she doesn't seem to notice you in return, so she ends up running right into you at full speed, with enough force that knocks her back to land on the ground on her butt with a slight whine.

[ Why are there so many brick walls around today, why couldn't she run into some fluffy bouncy fat people.. But it's okay, considering she doesn't fall -- although she's surprised for a moment by that fact. ]

A-- ah. [ nope, not falling. ] Um, I was trying to get to school in time! Especially since.. I can't really find school right now.

[ she doesn't even notice she's not in Kansas Tokyo anymore.. ]

The school? Which one? I've only got a vague idea where they are, but I can at least point you in the right direction.

Never heard of that one. Only ones I've heard of here are all "Prospero-somethin-or-other."

Prospero..? Huh, that's a pretty strange name for a school in the middle of Tokyo, isn't it?

[ She's pondering this, even making 'hmm' sounds to herself as she clearly doesn't catch on to the main issue just yet.. ]

Ah. That would explain things. We're not in Tokyo.

Tokyo's part of Japan, right? This location's about an ocean and a continent away from there.

But.. how can it be so far away from here?! I mean, I was in my bed just yesterday when I fell asleep! In the middle of Tokyo!

Yeah, and before I got here I was [Dead. Status Quo. QED.] in some place in Japan called Fuyuki.

I can't say I know the details, but that's just how the situation is right now.

So we were taken from Japan and dumped here? That's so weird..

And nobody has explained why to any of us yet?

It's not just Japan. It was in our particular cases, though.

Actually there's quite a few people who hail from that country here. Anyway, 'course the reason why hasn't been made available to us yet. That'd make getting back far too easy, after all.

So it's from all over the world.. [ scratching her head a little. ]

But won't people notice we've gone missing? They'll start to look for us, right?

It's not just from around the world, there's some "throughout time" stuff going on, too.

Case in point, I come outta the year... sometime around 2000, technically. One of the people here I'd trust with my life? Last he knew, it was about 1990.

I'm from 1996, so that's still a little around the same time, right? [ for a moment there's a pause as she thinks. ] Hmm.. At least 1990 and 2000 aren't too far away from each other.. There could be people from the year 0 or even earlier, after all!

[athngabla]

Well, it was just a single example. I think there are a few people who're further back and forth in time than just that, but you'd have to ask them about it.
