So things went back to normal after we killed that weird Shadow, huh? Everyone's back on the streets like nothing happened and the city didn't practically shut down. That's kind of weird. Do you think they're used to this?

Huh, it makes you wonder - how long has this been going on? Way before we came here...

[B: Action]
[Back-End Bar has more customers than normal tonight, probably because of the disruption to the regular drinking schedule. People can be heard chatting aimlessly, but it's not near enough to drown out Ryuunosuke's whistling as he pours drinks.]

[He lights up a little upon seeing a familiar face, either from the devices or from taking down that Shadow.] What can I get you?

Eh, big. I've seen bigger.

It's not in charge, but before we killed it everybody was going haywire for a week. People wouldn't leave their houses and boarded everything up, even some of us were getting hit.

Hm. "Seen bigger" means it's probably not my normal department...oh well.

So the big one was influencing peoples' minds? Even during the day?

I've seen pretty big, though.

Unless it was at least 40 meters tall and had a glowing red sphere in it, I'm probably still in the wrong place. So much for getting dragged here by fate...then again, fate would have had the sense to bring my Evangelion along anyway.

I don't remember a glowing red sphere, but it was definitely that big.

Hm...it might not be an Angel, but it's awfully similar...maybe with this 'Persona' thing...

Do angels really look like that? I thought they were with the wings and the halos and harps.

In reality, they're more of the "horrible mashed-together giants dreamt up by a coked-out John of Patmos".

Has no one in this town seriously heard of Angels? I'm beginning to feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone. Well, even more.

The weirdest part is how many people have never heard of the Twilight Zone, but at least that I know.

That is weird. Old as it may be, it's a classic of pre-Impact television.

They can't all be crazy when they talk about where they're from. Probably. Maybe.

So where are you from? If you're really from Japan like you look to be, you should at least be aware of the things that keep stomping all over the JSSDF.

Ryuunosuke Uryuu. I never used to talk this much, but I guess it's because the people here are cooler than the everyday people you'd run into back home.

It's a slight improvement, at least.

A slight improvement's still pretty good when you're bored.
