20: Nice Boat ending ahoy. [video; dark hour]

[The video clicks on to an alleyway during the Dark Hour. A shadow is cornered by the phone owner. The phone is now placed on a stack of boxes. Over the shadow’s panicked squeal, there’s a soft laugh and Saori slowly approaches the shadow, sword in hand.]

You all know I’m dating Kaiji and would do anything to protect him, right? I promised myself to make sure he never gets hurt from both shadows and people. Also you better not get too comfy with him or this will happen.

[Without hesitation, she plunges the sword into the shadow and twists the blade while it’s still in the creature. She lets it sit there for a moment and even puts her foot on the shadow in case it tries to escape. After a bit, she sets it on fire with an agi spell and it reduces to ash.]

Of course I’d rather not do that to an actual person. So do yourself a favor and stay away from us. It’ll just be the two of us together. That would be the best.

[She giggles and turns off the phone.]

[After Saori finishes flaming the poor monster, Miki finally speaks up. She had heard Saori's voice while walking home from work with April and, worried, wandered off to so if Saori was ok. When she arrived, she was stunned to see Saori toying with the shadow.]

[Her sword is still out and she was watching the shadow burn away until both Miki and April's voices got her attention. She turns around and smiles as if nothing happened.]
