Is there really any way to run a temple or something like one from an apartment?

I'd need to make sure of that before I rent one, of course. Although I'm turning eighteen on Saturday and legally could manage it, and with my jobs I can afford to rent one, if it's impossible to do anything significant with it I might as well just stay in the hotel.
