They enjoy the effects of alcohol on their systems. It makes some people feel good, and you can avoid feeling awful afterwards quite easily. But when you're drunk people don't think of that.

Exactly how many people responded to Gilgamesh's obviously alcohol-inspired declaration of a drinking contest? The number must presumably be large given that you see the need to make an announcement such as this over the network.

Not at all, I didn't go last night. However a certain 'someone' I know isn't used to being able to be drunk and thus hung over. I figured others may be in the same situation.

Who knows. It sounds like it was a pretty wild party however. This is more a courtesy for those that it's a new experience for. After all, some people may not have been able to be drunk before.

I see. You must be able to more easily accept such claims than I. Regardless, the idea that so many kidnappees would indulge at the same time is a concern. I can only hope that this is another Shadow-influenced change in behavior rather than an indication of hopeless irresponsibility.

I would call you rather optimistic to blame this on the shadows, it is human nature to sometimes overindulge in things that promote merriness in times of stress.
