[Anyone turning on the TV today will receive frequent updates about a serial killer on the loose. The killer apparently is fond of mutilating his victims in gruesome ways after their death, although not every time. The police haven't been able to find them yet, but they're working nonstop to catch the killer and put an end to this horror.

Among the victims that are listed by the end of the day are Grainne and Saori Nakagawa.

[April really wished she was hearing things when Saori's name was announced as one of the victims. But she knew she wasn't. So she could only stare at the TV in shock as anger swelled up in her, before she tightly clenches her hands into fists.

Well, she's certainly got some incentive to go after the bastard now.]

[Though Edgeworth recognizes that it's important for people to know when someone dangerous is on the loose, he also knows that in this place it's liable to prompt interference and acts of vengeance -- particularly given who two of the victims are. He isn't exactly happy to see an "ally" or a friend's wife die, even if probably temporarily, but damn it, he's already trying to do his job, they should know that...

[alone in her and Itsuki's room, Chitose watches the news broadcast with wide eyes - she doesn't know either Grainne or Saori, doesn't know they're one of 'them', but not knowing doesn't make it any less terrifying.

When the news is over, she quietly turns off the TV, then gets up and goes to curl up on the floor of the closet. Though she doesn't shut the door, it still makes her feel just a bit safer.]
