track 001 ❅ can you heat it up ❅ video; action;
[ Good evening, Prospero. Do you know where your idols are?
It's the Dark Hour, as evident from the feed blipping on, revealing the sky in its eerie colors, only accented by the darkened buildings, upright coffins and absolute stillness in the background. Only the feed is on its side. And bobbing up and down. ]
Uuuu, everything is so scary right now...
[ Suddenly, fingers. Brown hair. Brown eyes. A young woman appears in front of the feed, tapping the screen. ]
How do you use these American phones?--Ah! Hello! [ Seemingly aware that she's broadcasting now... ] Yukiho Hagiwara here, and, umm, does anyone know what happened? It became midnight, and everything everywhere just froze!
[ A sudden crash of noise nearby causes her to cry out in fright, tossing the phone into the air as the feed spins dizzily for a few moments. ]
What was that?!
[ The feed is flicked in the direction from the sound, revealing--lo and behold--a shadow. The black, floating, fuzzy kind, probably iridescent with some odd pink/purple light and little beady yellow eyes. It's in a lit alley, and in its general maya stupor it apparently knocked over a trash can. ]
Eh? Is that... a balloon?... With... eyes?
[ The shadow's doing its own thing, oblivious to the quietly approaching girl apparently. ]
It's...
...
Cute?
[ On cue the floating shadow snaps attention onto the video broadcaster, does its routine angry flailing of the limbs and speeds at the feed. ]
[ The feed gets jumbled again, bobbing up and down, bouncing side to side, catching a glimpse of the fear-stricken girl with a menacing level one balloon-type gutter-trash run-of-the-mill shadow in hot pursuit, and probably not looking for an autograph.
The feed cuts out. ]

Did nobody tell you about the Dark Hour?
[ action ]
Ah! N-No! No one told me anything! I... woke up one morning a few days ago, in some hotel and away from home... I thought I was kidnapped, but then I saw other people talking on the phones...
[ Sheepish smile! ]
I guess we're all in this together, aren't we?
[ action ]
Well, we've all been kidnapped, and we're the only ones who don't turn into coffins during the Dark Hour, so... yeah. I guess we're all in this together.
[ action ]
[ Yukiho looks away, though not really looking for danger. ]
Does... does this "Dark Hour" mean what's going on.. now? Because this is my first time seeing this...
[ action ]
[ he angles his head a little, indicating the spot where Lancelot had stood a few moments ago ] Lancelot is my Persona.
[ action ]
C-Coffins?... Per.. sona?--eeeeeeeeehh?! I-I have to fight too?
[ action ]
[ action ]
[ Yukiho is starting to realize a few things... ]
... The police are... c-coffins too... during the Dark Hour?
[ action ]
Yeah. It kinda sucks showing up here like this.
[ action ] - assuming Lindsey is wearing glasses...
Yukiho will just file this away, in a pending spot of things to think about, having learned this trick from her busy lifestyle before coming to this place, and instead focusing on the here, the now and the immediately ahead.
She takes a deep breath, holds it in for a few moments before exhaling. Her fear largely diminished and the jitters now at their minimum, she is able to look at what's in front of her.
There is a man there, standing, with dark glasses on (isn't it midnight?) of that which Yukiho owes her life to, at least in her mind, and for that she bows graciously. ]
My name is Yukiho Hagiwara, and thank you for saving me.
[ action ] - Yup! Assume he always is unless I say otherwise :3
Oh. Uh. Don't worry about it. [ Maybe one day he'll learn to talk to girls like a normal person. Wouldn't that be nice. ] ... My name's Lindsey.
[ action ] - bueno
(Or maybe because he saved her life!) ]
Umm... Is it always like this? During the Dark Hour? Do those... things wander the streets like they do now?
[ action ]
Maybe it's also the fact that he has a girly name too :|. He sort of glances around, not really at anything, just looking for more shadows, since that's all he can see. ]Occasionally. It feels like it's been worse lately, though.
[ action ]
[ Yukiho announces, again, though this time without the hysterics and just light-hearted admission. ]
Umm... How do we get one of those?
Am I a purse owner?
[ action ]
And I guess you get them when you need them. Yours probably would've shown up if I hadn't been here to help.
[ action ]
[ Yukiho plays with the word quietly. ]
They just show up?
[ action ]
Mine showed up when I was about to get eaten by shadows. I think it's pretty similar for others, too. They come to us when we're in danger.

[ action ]
Umm... Mister or Miss Persona... Or Persona-san... Persona-chan?... Umm... Sorry for asking, but... please come out?
...
...
...
[ Yukiho smiles in admission. ]
... Guess it doesn't work like that, huh...
[ action ]
[ action ]
[ That's some backwards logic there Yukiho ]
[ action ]
[ action ]
Are there any safe places to hide during the Dark Hour?
