[Taro's in a little bit of trouble. You see, it's past midnight, and he's been out wandering.]
[... And he found a teeming mass of Shadows. He flicks on his phone, the screen blocked a bit by his fingers wrapped tightly around it. The camera is shaking a little, too - he won't admit it, but he's scared.]
S... so these are it, huh? Seems kinda weird... they're just blobs... I -
[He raises the phone almost defensively as one of the 'blobs' slithers near him. The phone shakes more, and he runs towards it, the blob forming into a more recognizable appearance - veterans of Prospero will know it as a Crying Table. He lets out a shout, punching it from the underside as if to flip it, and it smacks him back.]
Wh -
[The camera slips out of his grip, spinning around on the ground. Other Shadows are visible coming up from behind him and on the sides. Taro's knocked to the ground by one of them, and he kicks it back, crying out in pain as one of them casts Agi on him.]
I don't want to die again...
[One of the Shadows flows over the phone, cutting off the video.]

[Simultaneously, a large man in Greek armor comes crashing down on one of the Crying Tables while Miki flies in with a devastating kick to another.]

[The persona sprints past the two humans, stopping only to hit each of the present shadows.]

[He goes down from an Agi spell, slamming into the pavement and breathing hard.]
[He's scared and he doesn't know what to do, and they slither closer -]
[And then a monkey appears over him, and he can see exactly which ones to punch. He jumps to his knees, hits one and it goes down. Leaping over it, he waits for one of the Shadows to cast an Agi and draws another into the line of fire, grinning as it flattens out from its weakness getting hit.]

It's dangerous to be by yourself during the Dark Hour. Different shadows have different weaknesses, so it's best to go out in a team.

...Wait, you came out here without awakening your Persona yet? All the more reason you shouldn't be out here then. Getting them out the first time is kind of difficult but you'll get the hang of it once you do.

[A woman with red hair and carrying a large urn appears behind her. Said urn contains a roaring fire which she aims at the enemies. The flames reduce the closest one into ashes.]

[He runs at a Shadow and kicks it, sending it flying into another one before splatting into the ground.]
Come on! You're telling me that one before was a lucky shot? You've gotta be at least as scary as that assassin to try to freak me out!
[... Ask and ye shall receive, apparently. A Primitive Idol comes scuttling up to him, casting... something.]
[And suddenly, Taro's face goes white. He backs up, unable to do anything but stare. The Shadow smacks him, and something clicks, throwing him into action.]

[A monkey appears behind him, and he points to the Shadow in front of him.]
Use lightning if you've got it! Don't try to hit it without some kind of element!

[Fangirling can wait until they deal with the shadows. She continues to summon Brigid to use her single fire spell.]

[Any small wounds they have get healed up just fine.]

[He takes a few steps back, pointing out a few Shadows that look weak to fire, and starts pounding on a few that aren't resistant to physical attack.]
