No. It is most definitely NOT a bad thing. Even if it is a bad association, the idea in itself is not a bad one.

You don't sound so sure of yourself anymore. If...that's a strange word to apply to a situation like this. Life is something precious because it can end at any time. You just have to keep going and adding your own meaning to it.
