[It's chaos in the streets. Persona-users are getting killed, everyone in town seems on edge, and people are just plain acting stupider than normal, and it has Asuka insanely on edge. Worse, the monster that humiliated and killed her is running free at this very moment. Only one thing to do about all of this - skip school and beat the crap out of something in an abandoned lot to try and calm herself down.]

HA! HYAA HA!

GRRR DAMMIT!

[About three poorly constructed makeshift training dummies later and Asuka's no calmer. In fact, now she's just hot, sweaty, and annoyed. She's seriously considering going out and finding people who have earned a beating and giving them one. It's training, right?]

B - [Action, night time]

[At night, Asuka's still just as frustrated and angry, but she's more serious about what she's trying to do. Axe in hand - where she got that fire axe, who knows, but there is one missing from the school - Asuka's prowling around much earlier than she should be to be getting prepared for the Dark Hour. She's also clearly looking for someone - or, hopefully, something - with intent to use that weapon of hers.]

[For now, Gentarou's biggest impulse - MAKE LOTS OF FRIENDS - is the only thing going into overdrive, but he's been getting into more fights too, he has to admit. Unfortunately, because of that impulse of his, as he wanders across the girl walking around an axe, he doesn't think at all like he should, only caring to MAKE FRANDS and, well...]

[He was just enjoying some strawberry milk after his usual practice, trying to figure out what else to do to kill some time before the Dark Hour. So when he sees Asuka already walking around with a weapon, well... He can't help but wonder.]

[Somebody's whistling in an alley nearby. Who could it possibly be?]

[Okay, Asuka. Don't just charge in there. It could be a bum.]

[But it's probably Ryuunosuke.]

[Okay, axe up, moving quietly. Still rather obvious, but at least she's not flat on her heels.]

[Asuka leans her head around the corner of the alley, hopefully seeing whoever's there at least as soon as they see her, if not sooner.]

[Success. Ryuunosuke is unaware of her presence. What now?]

[Blow it, of course.]

Uryuu!

[Asuka steps fully into the alley, out of sight of the uncaring civilians and blocking the entrance. She holds her axe up ready to either charge or react to an attempt to flee.]

You're going to die, saukerl.

[Ryuunosuke looks up, not seeming too surprised as he pulls out his knife.]

You're going to have to translate, German's not my best language.

[Confident in her ability to overwhelm him without his Persona's magic at hand, Asuka dashes down the alley, leaping over rubbish to slash wildly at him with her axe.

[The axe connects! Ryuunosuke hisses before jumping backwards.

...man, he is so screwed here. Maybe he'd better exert himself enough to bring Vetala to save him...]

Not so tough without your cheating Persona magic, are you?

[Asuka hasn't really been watching the clock, though. If Ryuunosuke can hold out for a few minutes, it will actually be the Dark Hour.]

[She attempts to bisect him with her weapon, now that she sees blood, swinging at his waist.]

[Ryuunosuke barely manages to dodge that, having been put completely on the defensive. No way can his knife get past her axe, so he doesn't even try.]

It so is! I HATE IT!

[Swinging for the neck now, as midnight approaches rapidly.]

[Miki was prepped for this dark hour, it's been a bad few days for her so the though of able to go nuts on the somewhat powerless shadows caused an immense amount of glee to float through her mind. But her plans change on her walk towards her favorite hunting grounds, when she sees a flash of red hair on the streets.

Ducking into an alley, she sees this as her opportunity, her chance for revenge. Barely able to contain a mainiac cackle, Miki quickly looks around for something to aid her. Yes, yes, that's what she needs. Just like Vriska, she'll do the same thing. Finding a length of pipe in a pile of junk, she moves to the edge of the alley, hiding behind the corner of the building, to wait to ambush her prey.]

(Chronologically before Ryuunosuke's thread I think)

[Asuka's been keeping an eye on alleyways in general, though she's seeing enough red that even a token attempt at hiding is enough to stop her from noticing anyone.]

[She passes by the front of the alleyway, looking ready and fire axe held low, but still oblivious to the specific threat.]

[Miki manages to contain herself enough to let Asuka get a few steps in front of her position before she leaps out at the girl, screaming and swinging the pipe for the bleachers (with Asuka's head being the pitch).]

ONIMARU DEAGON OF VENGANCE STRIKE!

GAH!

[On nothing more than pure instinct, Asuka dives forward, awkwardly turning into a shoulder roll as the pipe whiffs over her head. She comes back up predictably angry.]

What the hell are you doing?! You could have killed me!

[assaultedramen]

[Miki gives Asuka her best Jack Torrance impression, all smiles and wild eyed, as she rereadies the pipe.]

Good.

[She jabs forward with the pipe, aiming for the girls stomach.]

[Not expecting to get stabbed with a blunt object, Asuka's hit, getting knocked back and the wind knocked out of her at the same time. Hurting, she swings her axe upward with an unintelligible yell to try and drive Miki back and get some breathing room.]

[Miki lifts her chip up the throw her body back in a somersault out of the way of the black. Once she's back on her feet and traction is found again, Miki sprints forward, looking to close the gap between the two girls once again. She grasps the pipe with both hands, swinging towards the side of Asuka's ribs.]

You're crazy, you know that?!

[Asuka swings her axe heavily in return, sharp metal trying to parrying the swinging pipe, or cut it in half. Anything to stop getting hit again.]

If I we crazy I'd just be doing this for fun!

[The Axe clangs on the pipe, vibrating it loose from Miki's hands. Quickly abandoning the dreams of her former weapon, Miki drops low and sweeps one leg towards Asuka's feet in an attempt to trip the Fraulein.]

You--YAH!

[Asuka goes tumbling to her back. On nothing more than instinct, she swings her axe over her hard to force Miki not to press the attack.]

[Miki was pressing the attack, and was in the process of jumping up when her path unfortunately intersected with that of the axe, which digs into her side. As is tradition, a bit of blood spurts from Miki's mouth]

Ghhchkkk!

[soulsborderline]

[Asuka can only stare, wide-eyed, as some of Miki's blood falls on her, adrenaline and training canceling out shock and leaving a blank stare.]

[After a pause, she finishes following through with the attack, tossing Miki off of her and onto the ground.]

[Miki gives some more pudding through a garden hose sounds as Asuka pulls the Axe out of her. Miki falls to the ground in shock, not that she would be able to talk much, but too overcome by what had just happened to her to even attempts. She coughs a few times as the life drains out of her side.]

I didn't want to do this! Idiot.

[Asuka looks down at Miki, squinting disgustedly at the wound she inflicted. She's seen worse, but that was on a giant cyborg or wannabe movie monster, not a person.]

You're...it'll be quicker if you die and come back here, right? I can't believe you'd just attack me like that. I don't kill humans, dammit, I kill monsters...

[assaultedramen]

[Miki looks at Asuka and attempts to gurgle some insults at her. Her one hand cradles the wound while the other reaches for the girl and swings around angerly.]

Lunatic! Fine.

[Staying out of Miki's reach, Asuka lines up her axe, steps in, and brings it down on Miki's neck with a yell and a highly unprofessional last-second closing of her eyes.]

[Well, that's not what Miki was expecting at all. Not there there is much she can do about it in the few seconds of consciousness she has left.]

[Asuka stands up and turns around immediately, shaking the blood off her axe.]

I guess I do kill humans.

[Without looking back, she shoulders her axe and walks off.]

Going to do that to Ryuunosuke anyway. She'll be up in a week...
