Part 1: Backdated to late Sunday evening

[Even if you lived right next door in the hotel to Chitose and Itsuki, you likely never knew they were there; both were very quiet, and Chitose especially rarely left the room. So it might come as a surprise to anyone passing by that section of the hotel this particular evening to hear a sound that's remarkably like glass or ceramics smashing into pieces. It's accompanied by distraught sobs and the occasional incoherent but most definitely angry shout.

Part 2: Forward-dated to Thursday's Dark Hour

[Ever since Inugami awakened and Chitose discovered it was easiest to summon and interact with him during the Dark Hour, she's taken to taking her Persona for 'walks' during that time; she's not particularly seeking out Shadows to kill, but now that she has Inugami, she's not really all that afraid of them anymore. She trusts her Persona to protect her.

Which is why she's so shocked and terrified when on Thursday night, she finds herself cornered by none other than the partner she's come to love and trust. He's got her backed up against a building, growling at her, and she's pretty much frozen in place, too confused to even cry.

She could probably use a little help.]

[Why is Snake always stuck in the hero role?

The loud sound of three bullets being fired goes off, and once that's done with Snake's free hand rises up and smashes his corresponding Arcana tarot card.]

Get out here, Rasputin.

[Cue the said Persona being summoned and deciding to try and fend off Inugami.]

[the sound of the bullets startles her, and she blinks uncomprehendingly at Snake and his Persona for a moment, then gasps and darts forward to try and grab at Rasputin. Not that a tiny ten-year-old is going to be able to do much to stop him]

Please, don't hurt Inugami!!

Damn it, kid, get outta the way!

[Snake can only call Rasputin back for a short moment, and his Persona is voicing his dislike in Snake's mind. A low grunt is emitted from the ex-solider as he tries to steady his aim.]

[she stumbles back, crying quietly. She doesn't know what to do, because Inugami is still snapping and snarling at both her and the other Persona]

Please don't hurt him... [she can't think of what else to say. All she cares about right now is that Inugami isn't injured, or worse.]

[Unfortunately for Chitose, Snake isn't that kind of person. He understands what kind of sacrifices are needed. All he can do right now is give comforting words while he commands Rasputin to attack Inugami.]

The dog won't die. You will if you're not careful.

[she slumps to the ground, not wanting to watch, but not wanting to look away in case her Persona is hurt too badly while she's not watching]

You promise? H-he... [sniffles and wipes her eyes on her sleeve] He won't die?

Nah, he won't.

[Of course, Rasputin is still going after Inugami with a few attacks anyways, and Snake is firing his gun at the Persona.]

Okay...

[then she feels all right about hiding her face in her hands. She really, really, really doesn't want to see Inugami getting hurt.]

[Weird. Where was that noise coming from?

He followed it until he stopped at the door. Behind the door was probably the source.]

Pardon me. [Knock knock.] Is everything alright in there?

[the sound of shattering glass and ceramic stops for a moment, and there's silence, then the sound of small footsteps shuffling towards the door and stopping just on the other side]

... Mr. Neah?

[Oh. At least it stopped. He was worried that someone else was doing it, rather than herself.]
