[When the video feed turns on, the image is blurred, as though the phone is being moved fast. Though it soon steadies and focuses on one April leaning against a wall, who looks worn-out and covered in cuts and scrapes, and there's one heavily bleeding wound on her shoulder, but she still manages to give a wry smile.]

So, ah, I'm guessing the newest thing is having your Personas attack you, huh? Ugh, I didn't know they would hit this hard... [There's a slight grimace in pain, before she keeps speaking.] Anyway, I think maybe-

[She's cut off by a bright flash of light which completely obscures the video, and a loud crack, and when the feed clears again, the phone is on the ground a few feet away from April, who is picking herself back up from the ground with a pained groan and a muffled curse. And in front of her is a humanoid rainbow, her Persona. And electricity is already crackling around it again as April gets onto her feet and readies her rifle, glaring up at it.]

Agh, son of a- Fine, c'mon then!

[And it's with another blinding flash of electricity that the feed ends. Any phone replies might be late, due to Persona fighting.]

I guess, but- [And this is when Iris decides to attack again, and Ledah is gonna find himself being pushed out of the way so that April takes most of it. April is kinda surprised she's still conscious and she uses her rifle to keep herself upright.]

April, I could have taken that!

[Bishamonten is summoned, and attacks Iris with fire.]

It was instinct! [The fire does some pretty good damage, as Iris draws away and flinches in pain.]

Don't make things worse for yourself.

[Ledah rushes into action, taking advantage of Iris's retreat by charging at her with his lance.]

I didn't want you to get hurt. [Another flinch in pain, before Iris uses Zionga again, intending to drive him back. April, meanwhile, will be taking this moment to try to get her bearings again.]

[Persona attacks hurt, but at least it wasn't ice. Ledah is pushed back, but calls forth Bishamonten to fill in the gap with his fire.]

[Iris draws back even further, writhing from the pain of the fire. Even though Bishamonten is a few levels lower than Iris, the fire is clearly working on bringing the Persona down.]

[Ledah readies Lorelei again.]

Burn in the flames of judgment.

[...Did he just set his lance on fire and charge again.]

[... April is just gonna stare at that, while Iris winces and doubles over, though it manages to use another Zionga despite how weak it's becoming. Looks like another few hits will do it.]

[Ledah takes the hit. He can heal later, but now he needs to finish off Iris so that April won't be in further danger. He attacks once more.]

[And it's with another large flinch of pain that Iris finally vanishes, now no longer a threat. By this point, April is slumped against the wall again, the amount of blood that she's lost making her too weak to stand up straight.]

There, that should - April?

[He turns, and rushes to her side - well, it hurts to do so, considering that he took on several attacks, but he's in better shape than April at least.]

... I'm fine, just... took too many hits. [She gives him a reassuring smile, before frowning faintly.] A-and anyway, you need to heal yourself.

Right.

[Bishamonten, Diaharan to April first. Bishamoten-]

I think he's expended too much energy.

Thank you, but you should've healed yourself first... [She does feel a lot better though, although still faintly sore and tired. And she doesn't trust Iris right now...] Let's head back to the hotel, I can patch you up there.

That would have gone against my priorities.

[He straightens up.] As you wish.

But right now, you're the more effective fighter between the two of us. So you didn't need to heal me.

[She pushes herself from the wall and nods. Time to head back to the hotel.]

...I know.

[Why did he do that? It's strange. He mulls over it on the walk.]

[April doesn't say anything at first, but soon she becomes worried enough that she gives him a curious look when they get back to their room.] What's wrong?

I didn't think about the logical decision when I healed you instead of me. I just did it without thinking.

[April raises an eyebrow as she grabs the first aid kit and motions for him to sit on the bed.] ... Without thinking?

[He sits obediently.] As I said.

[She sits down next to him and begins to gently treat his wounds.] That... doesn't sound like you. Was there something that moved you to do that, or was it just spur of the moment?
