[Sup, Prospero. It looks like you have another newcomer, because there's going to be a pair of curious blue eyes showing up on the feed. Eventually it pulls away to reveal a well-built young man who seems both confused and fascinated by the phone he's just gotten. He doesn't seem to realize everyone can see him...]

Huh. I've never seen technology like this before...looks kind of like a communicator, but...

[He trails off, and he frowns and shakes his head as though to clear it of these thoughts.] What? No, I can't think about that! I don't even know where I am! I've never seen people like the ones here before, either...am I still even on Third Earth?

[He runs a hand down his arm, apparently unused to the fact that it's completely bare.] And how did I lose most of my fur, anyway...?

[Wait, whoa, someone is talking to him.] Human...? I've never heard of them. [There are some humanoid races on Third Earth, certainly, but no actual humans as far as he's aware.]

Prospero, huh...so I guess it's safe to assume that I'm not on Third Earth anymore.

...Third Earth?

This is Prospero, an island in the United States of America. But from the sounds of it, you weren't human to begin with, so you might not even know what that is...

Ah, but I've heard that non-humans become human here, so that might explain the missing fur.

Yeah, you're right about that. I've never heard of the places you mentioned.

I've never heard of humans, either... [And now he's stuck as one.]

Hmmm... It would be hard to describe a human to someone from a very different world, especially since I have nothing I could use as a comparison.

But basically... What you are now? Is human. Most of us don't have as much hair as say, primates or other furred mammals. There are also many different sizes, colors, and shapes we can come in, as I'm sure you will find the more you look around.

Well, that isn't surprising. Cats come in all shapes and sizes, so I guess it's the same with humans.

[They kind of were one in the 80's...] Why's that? Do humans not like Lions?

I wouldn't say that humans hate them. It's just that lions are such big and strong cats, most humans would be afraid of being attacked.

[Well, back home most Cats have always been kind of racist so Lion-O can understand that.] I see...but I wouldn't attack anyone unless provoked myself.

But they might not know that, so their first reaction would be to panic, I'd think.

Incidentally, do lions normally talk in your world?

The Third Earth..? Hey, what happened to the first two the-- [ .. wait, as she's pondering that, what exactly is it that he said at the ending there?! ]

I'm not really sure. That's just what we call it.

And...yeah, I used to have fur. Guess I don't anymore, though. [And it's still really weird...]

No way, I've never seen a person with fur before..! I know this place turns everyone human, but.. what did you even look like back home then?

Well, mostly the same as I do now. But I don't have my fangs or claws...

[He runs a hand through his hair and suddenly stops.] And my ears are a different shape, too.

Why would I eat you? We don't eat any other Animal that can talk.

Okay, I have to admit I've never seen a talking lion before, but I'm pretty sure lions would eat humans when they get the chance! It was in those cartoons on TV!

I don't know what those are, but they're probably wrong. We don't eat humans. There weren't even any humans where I'm from.
