This isn't its original location. Back home, it was miles above the ground and supported by durable steel beams. But it wasn't meant to be a fortress, not for me, anyway. It's my home, and, I will admit, a bit of a publicity stunt.

More wasteful than just letting it sit there? Having it moved from Scotland was expensive, particularly given the locals' reluctance to set foot in it, but I had the money to spare.

A conglomerate. We dabbled in a few things, but our main focus was medicine and technology. I've personally made great strides in the areas of robotics and pseudo-intelligent computer programs.

How have these technologies impacted society in your world?

Cheaper, more effective medicine, more energy efficient transportation. My robotics are starting to replace human workers in especially dangerous areas of work and I've developed high-powered lasers that make mining and similar jobs a hundred times easier. Not to mention providing thousands of jobs to people of all skill and education levels.
