[Action for Diarmuid, morning]

[Issei had almost been getting used to the idea that he would not see Prospero again, not see any of the people he met there again. He hadn't decided how he felt about that by the time that he woke up to his hotel bedroom.

Had he dreamt being home? How long had it been? And were the people he cared for still safe?

The answers to this lied clearly in one place.

Diarmuid would find his door being nearly pounded on.]

[Issei hesitates to speak.]

I never thought I would regret going home. When I was there, I found myself sorely wishing to be back, just to make sure that the rest of you could also come back safely. It would be unfair for me to be the only one to return.

How have you all been?

Entirely possible, but that still raises the question of what makes the difference. I suppose random chance is a possibility...but it seems unlikely for something like that to develop randomly. As does a genetic trait, given the fact that we all hail from entirely different universes and some of us are supposedly entirely different species from humans.

*His expression turns a little more sour at the mention of a spiritual element, but he can't deny it.*

And if the identity of my own Persona is any indication, it's influenced by major points or concepts in one's life.

Mine indicates at least some consideration for major revelations and changing viewpoints, although not without a certain twist of irony.

They're useful, at any rate...

I'm merely relieved I have a method of defeating those ones that are immune to ordinary weaponry.

I had already suspected as much. Non-lethal damage is generally useless against mindless creatures.
misplacedxsheath: (Who thought that was a good idea?)

I don't deny it has its uses. I take it you were unfamiliar with the concept of threats that couldn't be discouraged by moderate levels of pain until you were brought here?
