So, now that everyone's had some time to get used to the stuff they got from home, I have a question. Actually, a couple of questions.

One, who all else had the lack of foresight to get something that turned out to be completely useless over here?

Two, I knew a lot of the stuff back home doesn't exist here, but does that seriously extend to half the components on this list? *groan*

Tell me about it! Everything I did do for fun has a better version in this place anyway. Stupid Second Impact apparently set electronics back by at least twenty years on top of everything else.

To be honest, space colonization would make a lot of sense given how there's so much less land now, but people have been busy. It's only been fifteen years, after all.

Second Impact, yeah. I'm supposed to tell you it was a meteor, but since you're from the future or something, it was actually some scientists' fault. Blew Antartica into snowy chunks.

Who screwed up that badly? Unless they were actually trying to blow up Antarctica and toss the world off the edge, in which case, that's stupid.

If I followed the story correctly, they found the original Angel and accidentally woke it up. Those things don't really seem to have any goal in mind except wrecking up the place, so it got pretty bad.

Brutal. All I have to say is, at least what I have to deal with never did that. Yet, at least.
