Dude, Io, I'm, like, recording. *The girl lightly pushes the dog back and laughs, petting it.* 'Sup, dudes of the mystery phone. Anyone here got an explanation for why my cosmic soul sister Io and I ended up over here? And anyone know what planet this is? Looks kinda like Earth, but I haven't been in ages.

*The dog barks.*

Yeah, Io, it's far out. Dog's got the right idea, y'know? Though we're both missing my other pets and our friends from back home, and our jet packs are missing, too. What a trip...

Hey, I'm not usually a fighting type to begin with.

Good. Oh, and before you ask, they aren't necessarily sentient, so diplomacy is out of the question. However, we aren't exactly being completely thrown to the wolves. In return for everything taken from us by this place, it does give us an interesting ability back.

What kind of ability are we talking?

Persona. Hah, every time I explain this I always think I sound a bit nuts. It's hard for people to believe until they experience it for themselves.

However, it seems that we are given the ability to summon...I guess a part of ourselves to do the fighting for us in events where just pure physical attacks don't work.

...whoa, man. That's deep, y'know? *blinks* It sounds like something important to what this place is.

It is. Everyone's persona is different, but summoning it the first time is the hardest part.

How do you get in tune with yourself?

Basically you get yourself into enough danger that it comes to protect you. Once the first time is over with you can call it at will during the dark hour.
