[The Archive set up her phone to record, then sat with her hands in her lap, looking troubled]
By the other videos on this network, I can see I am not the only one that had that dream. Has anyone any knowledge on anything that might have happened bef-
[And then. Memory.]
You know what is inside the box?
[The Archive's voice was the first thing heard. She sounded… much younger. At least nine years old at this time. The visual soon came up, and her little hands were holding a scorpion. Very calmly, the little girl that was the Archive dropped it into the box, a sound unlike anything in the world erupting from it, much like a wildcat's scream and the sound of water hitting a hot surface. Her face oriented on two men, one of Aztec decent and looking far too old for his apparently age, and a younger man with a long leather duster. There were others, such as a beautiful woman and a man too gorgeous to be real or even human, but her attention stayed on the two. On the duel explained, and the mordite she held floating between her hands. Of how it kills.]
[And she watched the two men duel, her eyes catching a glint of a gun from the older man before someone shot him. A man came running for her, gun already out as the younger man started screaming fake Latin and summoning a gust of wind. The Archive was taken away at that time by the man with a gun as several of the people around them erupted from their bodies to show inhuman, bat-like bodies. It was obvious he protected her often, the Kincaid she was talking about. He was a capable fighter, using a shotgun with strange shells that caused plumes of flames to erupt from the barrels. But when he turned, the monsters attacked his back. She came out, holding the mordite and sending it out. The ball of death hit several of the monsters, killing them instantly on impact. SIlence reigned as she turned her attention to the man that had been using magic, watching as he broke their gaze]
Who broke the sanctity of the duel first, Kincaid?
Couldn't tell. But Dresden was winning.
Thank you for letting me pet your kitty, Mister Dresden. And thank you for my name.
[The man, Dresden, looked surprised and a little sick. And very winded from the battle] You're welcome, Ivy.
Kincaid, the box please. [The Archive guided the little death ball into the box, then looked at Dresden] These proceedings are concluded.
