So, my turn is it? While I can't say our hosts picked my most fond memories to share, I suppose it could have been worse. Both of those situations ultimately turned out well, after all.

More like I'm not exactly fond of either of them after that stunt. I'm generally not the kind of man to hold a grudge, but some things are harder to forgive than others.

I agree. If there's a one thing I won't easily forgive it's when it involves someone's child and how they'll be raised. I understand the need to preserve magical bloodlines and legacy but the way your in-laws did it is rather harsh.
