Trust me, you have it easy compared to some of the others here. Besides everyone knows it's silly and nothing like the source material. Modern times has not always been kind to classic works.

It's called "parody", you know making fun of the source material? It's all in good humor and fun really.

Well, they didn't think the actually source material would see it. I guess you could say it was made more for the fans. I think more in this case, it pokes fun at the adaptations of the source too.

And trust me, this is one of the better ones. There are worse adaptations available. Want me to find them to prove my point?

Well think of it this way, you don't have as bad as Shakespeare. For every good adaptations of him and works, there's at least 5 bad ones.
