[ At least this time there's less surprise - not that it's actually noticable no matter what, since David is pretty much always calm - when he finds himself in this place. And it's not actually like he minds being here in good company and he figures he was probably summoned here for some good reason again, so.. he seems reasonably content as he speaks. ]

I assume I found myself in Prospero once more. [ not that he has that much of a sense what happened inbetween his last visit and now.. ] So do not worry about having to provide an explanation to another person. Instead I am merely curious as to how many other people are still in this place as well.

[ He doesn't notice for a moment or two, too occupied by his new surroundings, but then slowly he notices the tugging and stares down.. only to find the girl there.

It takes a moment, but then he recognizes her, slowly but surely. ]

.. You are here? [ he squats down to be on a more even level with her. ] Frankly, I did not expect to see you, but.. it is good all the same.

[A quiet nod from her end. She's just making sure he's real, and that this whole place wasn't just a nice dream. Once she confirms, she huffs.]

It got all dark again and I ended up here. [Vaguely, she chuckles.] I thought this place might have been fake. I'm happy it's not.

No, this is real. [ he quickly reassures her of that much, at least. ]

[Oh David. You were such a positive influence, and it reflects back to her.]

I did. Even though I have been gone for a while here, it honestly seems like just yesterday that I was here. .. The memory is not distant at all.

I didn't know we could leave at all. I thought we were stuck here. [Hue hue... Not that she minded, in the long run. It was better for her.]

[rocker]

No, I knew people had left before, but even so.. I had been stuck in this place for such a long place, I did not quite expect to suddenly be sent away again.

[ for a brief moment he frowns to himself, but he shakes it off. ]

... Then.. do you mind being stuck here again? [ he glances at her. ]

[Listening, she nods quietly. Only to stop when that question comes up.

Just a moment of silence before she shakes her head. Smiling faintly at his question.]

I don't exist in my world anymore. I don't mind being here again. [For a long time, too.] What about you?

[rocker]

I suppose it is the same for me, in a way, but I will doubtlessly 'exist' again later on. [ he'll be summoned, have to fight another Grail War.. all until he can reach the grail and get the wish, right? ]

.. But.. for someone like you to not 'exist'.. it sounds cruel.

Later on? [Sure, she thought there might have been an after-life, but then again. She doesn't really know the dynamic of his world.]

... I guess I got lucky again. The people in my hospital don't exist anymore. I would have been done for if I stayed.

[rocker]

[ No matter what.. this girl's story sounds quite sad, right? So if anything - he decides - he should at least reassure her now, gently grabbing her by the shoulders. ]

Time does not matter. I would merely wish to see you safe, so if I have to act for that, I will. [ He's just.. too nice, really - and she's so young, and he knows this place is dangerous.. ]

.. A knight? [ the idea seems to amuse him - if not just faintly. ]

Actually, since I am a king, that is not too far from the truth.

[ It's okay, communication across great distances wasn't exactly easy in his time either, so he nods understandingly-- although he manages to look sliiightly flustered at the last part. If you look closely enough. ]

[David, please. You're reinforcing that you're that word "cute" in her eyes, alright.]

Being kind to your people is only a requirement for a good king. Otherwise I would not have been much of a king. .. In fact, I only was one because the Lord wanted me to.

When I was your age I was still a shepherd, actually.
