[ It's early in the morning. You're probably still trying to get some sleep, especially if you spent some time fighting the shadows that roam the streets. Unfortunately, you're in for a rude awakening. Because this morning, a certain guest has arrived. And boy, is he causing a fuss in the Hotel's Lobby. If you happen to be in the hotel, you can head on down to see the commotion first hand. Otherwise, you may get an accidental video feed. Except the video is focused on an empty plate. But at least you can hear, right? ]

What do you mean that's all the food you have? You've got to have more! I can't start the day without at least a twelve course breakfast!

[Sleeping? Bullshit, Assassin don't do sleeping. He's practically can't sleep as well, because you know, his room is the first on the first floor, the closest room to the Hotel's Lobby.

Alas, he's... so intrigued on how big this man's stomach is. As his curiosity get the best of him, no sooner, he approaches Goku.]

[ This might be one morning Assassin wishes he could have slept. Because as soon as he address Goku, his attention is divided like a puppy and Assassin becomes his next target. ]

Mister, please tell me you know how to cook! I'm dying here! If I don't get my full breakfast, how am I supposed to get four hours of solid training in before lunch!?

[ He is completely serious here, man. Just look at that face. ]

[Assassin regrets nothing. That's just how much of a ~~loser~~ badass he is. Needless to say, this somewhat surprises him, although it's only a bit.]

I do have some capability of making sushi, but might I ask you why you require twelve course of breakfast beforehand?

[ Shock and horror! And here Goku thought everyone knew how important a full breakfast was for anyone. Not just a super awesome fighter! ]

Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day. And if you don't eat enough, you won't have enough energy to make it through the day. Especially if you're always training to be your best! I mean, even if I'm dead, I'm sure eating has to be important, right?

[ Yeah, someone hasn't exactly realized he's not dead anymore. Oops. ]

Indeed, eating was, is, and will always be one of the most important thing that no man should forget. [A small pause.] But personally, swallowing twelve courses of breakfast is rather extravagant for me.

Also, I should add that you are not dead. Not anymore.

[ Okay, now that he's actually taking a look around instead of panicking over the lack of food, he does notice it seems... completely different than where he just was. Also, no halo above his head. But does that mean...? ]

Wow! They already gathered the Dragon Balls and wished me back? But it's a little early. I was supposed to go train with the king of pie or something!

The Dragon Balls! There's seven of them, and when you gather them, you summon a huge dragon that grants you any wish! Except you can only be wished back to life once. So I hope I don't end up dying again.

[ By this point, Goku's made the connection that this device allows him to talk to other people. Not that he actually knows how to do it himself, but hey. If all he has to do is pick it up, he can do that. So David will be seeing the saddened face of an otherwise healthy looking young man staring back at him. ]

They said they wouldn't have enough to feed everyone else if they gave me wanted I needed. But how do they expect me to make it down Snake Way without a full stomach? It's over 10,000 miles long!

I have not heard of such a road being nearby this city. [ Not that he's that familiar with it, but a road that long should be more well known, right? ]

So I believe you do not have to worry about that.

If Snake Way isn't here, then I can't receive my special training, and then I can't defeat the bad guys coming to Earth! I mean, sure. It's going to take them a year to get here, but still!

So what you are saying is that you were in the middle of something before you arrived here? [ that's quite a different situation from his', but.. yes, he can understand it. ]

As far as I know, people have not been noticed as missing back in their own worlds for as long as they were here.

I am not sure, but it does seem that way. [ although he's more.. concerned with the latter half.. he's used to fighting giants, but what are monkey people, even. ]

Not exactly! I mean, I guess they are? I don't want them to be. But Raditz said he was my brother, and that I'm actually from some vegetable planet full of monkey people.

I mean, sure. I had a tail as a kid. But that got cut off. And I didn't want to destroy all life on the planet like he was saying I was supposed to do. I think the guy just woke up on the wrong side of bed.

Well, I don't really consider it my world. I was raised on Earth, so it's my world. Right?

Well, as far as I have heard, all of us are brought to this city from a different world. Unless your own world already contained multiple worlds to begin with. [ which.. is a fairly strange idea, although it sort of makes sense - if worlds are connected here, why not in another world too? ]
