[When the feed opens, it is to the sight of a regal and beautifully-dressed young woman. Her hair is remarkably long, her eyes clear and bright. There are no signs of the tears she shed over her lost wings only in the days before. Some might notice her similarities in appearance to V/V. Some might not. At any rate, the Heron Princess seems a lot calmer than she had been. When the indicator that the video is recording lights up, she smiles beautifully.]

Greetings. I am... new here. Apostle Sanaki has kindly given me all of the information I require on the situation here.

[At least her 'apartment' is high up... but she knows she can't stay there for long.]

Is there a forest nearby? I would rather not reside in this place for too long if there is another option. It is enough that I cannot fly... I would not abandon all that is comfortable to me.

Anyways, as for the forest, I'm afraid I'm going to have to disappoint you there. This is unfortunately more of a concrete jungle then a wooded one. There may be a few trees in the park but you would have to leave town to find anything larger then that.

Don't worry! It's all good!

Well, while it's true you'll regain your wings during that hour, you will not get back any other abilities you once possessed...that...may also include actually being able to fly if you could before.

However, that hour is extremely dangerous, it's when the monsters come out.

It depends, I don't know if you will or not here. And you will still be able to fly if you get sent home, this place can't take that ability away permanently.

As for the monsters, we call them 'Shadows', since that's what they look like until you get really close to them. They're hostile little creatures so be on your guard.

Shadows... They sound frightening, but I wonder why they're hostile?

No one has been able to figure that out yet, unfortunately.

Can they not speak? They might have been driven mad. I have seen it happen before, with poison.

They make noises, but no speech that's intelligible to us. And they just take damage if they're under a poison spell.

The poison that king used was one that attacked the mind, not the body. If my abilities were not sealed away, I would know their feelings, but alas.
