[When April appears on the feed she looks, well, scruffier than usual, with some smudges of dirt on her cheek and her hair a bit messier than usual. But she still has her usual cheery smile.]

Next thing, who thinks a horror movie marathon in the hotel lobby is something we should have? Since I've heard they're pretty fun.

And- [She's cut off when this little guy pops his head into view to sniff at the phone, before April pulls him away with a quiet laugh.] I found this guy when I was going out for a walk and it looks like he's homeless, so, uh... Hey, Ledah, is it okay if I at least give him a bath at our place?

[The puppy leans forward to try to sniff and lick at the phone again, while April tries to stop him.]

Tofi? ... Yeah, I like that name. [She looks down at the puppy, now nearly finished with brushing him.] There you go boy, your name is Tofi.

It's a good name. [When she's done, Ledah will scritch him behind the ear.]

[The puppy, now dubbed Tofi, gives a happy bark at the ear scritch, while April giggles.] Hehe, it is a good name.

[April finally gets onto her feet with a stretch, while Tofi seems content to play with the towel until she picks it up.] ... Shall we go shopping for stuff for him later? I only bought some shampoo, brush and a collar and lead for him.

I believe he'll want toys. We should buy him some, or else he may decide to play with our other things.

[Hopefully they have few valuables.]

And he is not going anywhere near our books. So toys, food and probably a bed for him too... Can you think of anything else?

Okay! ... Though, uh, is it okay if I clean myself up first before we go shopping? [Since there's still patches of dirt and such on her.]

[He chuckles.] Certainly, you may.

... Then, um, can I ask you to look after Tofi while I clean up? Cause it might be hard to clean while a puppy is jumping around me.

Don't worry. I'll take good care of him.

Ah, thank you! [April nods, before lifting up Tofi and handing him to Ledah.] I won't be long, I promise.

[Ledah gently holds Tofi and stares at him.] Hello.

[Tofi just tilts his head as April giggles, before going to clean herself up.

Then after a moment, Tofi will try to lick at Ledah's face.]

[What. What is he doing. Why is Tofi getting his face wet. Ledah does not know how to dog.]

[And Tofi will keep with the face licking until April comes back from cleaning, which luckily isn't long, and she blinks a few times before smiling faintly.] ... You look confused, Ledah.

Why is he doing this.

It's kind of like a dogs way of saying hi. [And she goes to get a wet cloth for Ledah so he can wipe off the doggy drool.]

[Blink blink.] Hello. You could just wave a paw. [To demonstrate, he picks up Tofi's paw and waves it gently.]

[Ohgod this is all so cute and April covers her giggle with a cough, while Tofi just tilts his head again.]

Ah, while dogs can do that, you usually have to train them to do it.

[Another giggle, and then April will take Tofi off his hands before another licking attack can start.]

We can teach him all sorts of other things too, like roll over and barking on command.

It is. And it's great to see how much he has learned when the training is done.

[She places the puppy on the floor.] So, ready to go get supplies?

Right, lets go!

[And away they go shopping for dog supplies! Which doesn't take too long since they know what they need to get, so it isn't long until they're back at the apartment and Tofi is chasing a ball around the floor.]
