[This may be the most emotion anyone has seen out of Ledah. The hand that isn't holding his phone is clenched tightly, and his expression is distinctly a scowl.]

What can be forgiven for expediency? What can we ignore in order to gain allies against the Shadows?

On a related note. How would you suggest someone relieve stress?

[Ledah still looks pissed off as he wanders around the city. He has purchased for this occasion a 'stress ball', which is seeing some serious wear and tear from how much he's been squeezing it. It really hasn't helped. He's considering complaining to the store owner.]

[He really doesn't look like he has any destination in mind; he's just walking to be walking. He's wearing his formal dress and not even noticing the occasional strange looks from passerby.]

[She raises an eyebrow at his appearance, different as it is from the serene gaze she'd seen last.]

All kinds of things; reading, writing, music, art, even just talking to someone. Different ways for different people, try some stuff out.

Not gonna be dumb and ask if anything's wrong, so I'll skip to, "do you wanna talk about it?"

I see. I should find some books for myself, then.

The library's open for a good few more hours if you'd like to try that. You could also try giving Mr. Campbell a call and seeing if his used book store is still open -- you'd have to pay for those, though.

[She's not reading him like an open book per se, but she's able to infer a decent amount from his body language and tone. The rest is fanciful filling in of blanks.] I've got an open ear if you'd like. And if you'd rather not, that's fine too. Hm, maybe a journal would be a good idea...

I will stop by the library whenever convenient.

You talk to them or investigate them at all? How dangerous are they if - and I'm taking a guess here - they're just humans, too?

I've spoken to the three - two demons and a fallen angel - relatively briefly. Although they have no powers, they remain ruthless and unrepentant.

Fallen An- eh, nevermind. I can probably guess that one.

Any idea what they're planning? I mean, I doubt they can cause too much trouble if they're just human. And I doubt the shadows care about what species someone was.

I don't know. I shouldn't let them have the chance to plan anything.

I guess the next question would be; are they the same kind of demon you fought with?

Asking 'cuz another person here was talking about Angels before - and unless you're some kinda hundred-foot tall monster back home, it looks like species names don't mean too much here...

They are close in resemblance. They do not recognize the name of Asgard, but there is no reason to think they they are much different.

Well, if you've gotta deal with 'em, you've gotta deal with 'em. Just look before you leap, so to speak. Hurting someone who doesn't deserve it isn't the best course of action... Quite the opposite, actually!

[She pauses, before speaking to herself musingly.] Though if they're not from Prospero, they'd probably just revive anyway...

It might be a good idea to call a temporary truce? Mean, no gods around for them to bother. Even if there were, what could they do? Be-a-human at them?

[A shrug. Despite the flippant commentary she's trying not to be too abrasive.] Wait and see what happens, anyway. Who knows, maybe these ones aren't all that bad.

That was my reasoning for allowing them a truce. And yet I still cannot feel as though I have not committed betrayal.

Hm. Think of it this way. We've all got lives we're kind of... putting on hold while we're here. Tasks and duties we're leaving unfinished or put aside. It's not that we don't want to finish them, it's that we can't.

...Even so. I dislike being unable to complete my duty.

I know what you mean, but it's not something we can do much about right now. Best to focus energy where it'll be productive: and being mopey or feeling sorry for yourself is anything but productive.

...Anyway, like I said. We've all got stuff we wanna go back to. Might as well just focus on the getting-back. No offense, but hopefully you're worried over nothing and they'll wind up being helpful.

I hope so. I would much prefer that to the alternative.
