[It's the Dark Hour, in which the number of Shadows is far higher than usual, and April can be seen around the city fighting them as she usually does.

Except she just seems to be... poking at them and watching them flinch away. Since April has recently started to give anything she touches a static shock, she's apparently testing out this ability on the Shadows. Which is why she's merely poking at them and shocking them.

She doesn't look particularly amused by this, but considering she hasn't really been able to touch anything lately, that isn't surprising. So she'll just be going around and giving any Shadows she comes across static shocks.]

[April sits down next to him, though when her hand brushes against his she quickly pulls it back.] Ah, sorry-

[Wait a sec.] ... I-I didn't shock you this time...

I-I think so... [She hesitantly reaches to run her hand through his hair gently. And yep, no shocks. Now April grins happily.]

Aha, yeah, it's over!

[Then you, April, are getting squished in a hug. It's overrrrr!]

[She squeaks quietly in surprise, but quickly hugs back and snuggles closer, giggling happily.]

[He gently nuzzles her hair.]

I have missed this.

[She gives a happy sigh at the hair nuzzles, and she snuggles against him a bit more.]

So have I... I'm so happy that's over...

Yeah, I'll be happy if that never happens again. [Nuzzle, nuzzle, before she pulls away slightly so that she can lean up to kiss him.]

[Kissing is a very nice thing that he has also greatly missed. He kisses her back gently.]

[She pulls away from the kiss after a few moments and goes back cuddling and snuggling against him, almost purring.] ... Mmm, hope you don't mind me staying like this for the rest of the night.

Yeah, that's true... And now we've got a weeks worth of cuddling to make up for. [She gives a quiet laugh as she rests her head against his chest.]

Yep, we should. [She reaches up to play with the ends of his hair gently.] But I'm sure we won't have too much trouble with that.

[And a cell phone falls out of his hair.]

...I forgot that was where I was keeping that.

[April just... watches the cell phone fall out of his hair. And blinks.

And then bursts into laughter, which she unsuccessfully tries to muffle by hiding her face in his shoulder.]

Sorry, sorry. [She clears her throat, still chuckling quietly.] ... Just didn't expect you to have your phone in your hair.

Since you weren't touching it, it was fine for storing it there.

[Blink, blink.] Well... I guess that makes sense. But, uh, are you gonna keep storing it there?

I don't think so. It's not as practical as I thought.

Yeah, that's true. Especially if you forget it's there and you lose it during a fight.
