She's also wearing pants today, which is probably more remarkable than that.

(If anyone has a specific result they'd like to get from their Tarot reading, they can tell me - otherwise, I'll whip out my new real-life Tarot deck and do the reading myself.)]

[Vriska stopped in front of the table, blinking sleepily. Stupid sun, stupid change in sleep schedule] ... huh.

*Kaoru walks up to her and tilts her head.* ...What are you doing?

I'm conducting Tarot readings. Would you like me to read your future?

I'm reading people's fortunes through Tarot.

[She eagerly takes a seat, bouncing in place a little.]

[Sakurako grabs the cards and tries to shuffle them like a poker deck, like she saw Kaiji doing before. Once it becomes apparent that tarot decks aren't really designed for doing the bridge shuffle, she resorts to a more standard sort of shuffling method while apparently getting lost in thought for about a minute. Finally, she hands the cards back.]

So it's like my Magic Cue Ball only you don't need vision eightfold to see inside it. [Vriska shrugged, shuffling. What should she ask about? So many questions ran through her head. Would she be successful here? Would she be able to ditch her Persona for one that didn't make her tense and wait for commands every time it appeared? What was up with Feferi and Issei, anyway? Almost like she would have both her black quadrants filled...]

[She was shuffling for far too long, she realized. The last one. It was the freshest in her mind. Vriska handed the deck back, grinning] Will I get my black quadrants filled?

[Minato normally doesn't care about fortune telling. But recent events have colored him interested. So he is staring at her...curiously.]

[Curious Feferi is basically her default setting, and she's excited as she approaches.]

What are these cards? They're awfully pretty...

I haven't seen cards like that outside of stories. Where did you get them?

[Eater smiles before arranging seven cards face down in an arc.]

The first card in this arrangement represents your past. [She flips it over.] The Knight of Pentacles. Knights can represent a young man, or a man who is young at heart - the Knight of Pentacles is hardworking and dedicated, but tends to be a bit dull.
