It's not like I'm worried about it, exactly, but it's starting to freak me out a little. I've never been good with emotional openness.

I'm only going to be in this world as long as I have to be so there's no point making close friends. It's bad enough back home where I can't make real friends, let alone meeting people and leaving them.

That's kind of weird, in my opinion. If you don't have a lot of time, you should try to experience everything in the time you have. Even if everything is temporary, you can't just push all the good parts of life away so you won't have to go through some of the bad parts.

You're right, I haven't really. But that's because I haven't known anybody who meant that much to me. Maybe you shouldn't listen to me since I don't know from experience, but I'd rather have people like that and not get to keep them than just not have them.
