Dear Die-Ary #4 - Action - Johnny C.
[Today? Is a docile day for Johnny. In fact, he's even feeling a little bit sociable. Well, as sociable as Johnny can be.
Today, you might find a very gaunt, thin man on the street corners of Prospero, a load of copies of a single sheet of paper tucked under his arm as he looks around the town. Eventually, he might spot you and, standing still for a moment, call out.]
You! Hey you!
[And, before anything else can be said, he'll cross the distance and hand you this monstrosity
.]
Here. Tell me what you think of this.

God. Three years at least. That's as far as I can remember.
I guess that's breaking the rules. I mean there's crazy and then there's batshit and everyone knows you don't hunt where you shit but fuck! I could! That's the thing! I could kill people in broad daylight in the street and no one could fucking catch me! No one could even remember what I looked like!
It was like everything else in the world was mist, and I was the one substantial element there.

Don't you get it? Why think anything else is real, when the only thing that displays reality is me? What if it wasn't reality, just a pantomime of what I thought it was, playing out through my mind, and I still get the shit end of the stick.
It was pretty cool though, I won't lie.

Everything I did before getting shot to try and kill myself failed. Fuck. Maybe it failed too, considering I'm here.

So either A) this isn't reality but the death throws of one of our minds, B) we're in hell, or C)we didn't die. Those are the only logical things I can think of, though I guess it's debatable if B is logical.
Otherwise, how could you call the world sane if we're here talking to one another now?

If you were in the traditional hell, full of fire and brimstone and all that shit, would you even care? You strike as me the guy who would love every minute of that. "Hey Mr. Demon where are you going? You're finished shoving hot coals up my ass already?"
