I don't know exactly how I ended up here, but this place looks interesting! Shiki, if you can hear me out there, I'd really like to know just where I've ended up. I can already tell it's not Misaki, though maybe we're still in Japan. I have no idea! Say, there's something really weird too. I can't put my finger on it but something feels... wrong. Different. Well, that's all I really have to say! If anyone can help me out, that would be great! Oh, and if you see a boy in a blue school uniform with glasses who acts like an idiot, send him my way!

...Except you probably don't want to be welcomed to this part of America? I mean, this island is sort of crazy. Like, I don't know if you've noticed but we're currently infested with zombies.

Zombies aren't that big of a deal. I've dealt with them before... I've kind of dealt with far worse too. If zombies are the only threat here, then I have no reason to worry. [Only because Arc hasn't realized she's 100% human here.]

Worse than zombies? Wow. I've only had to deal with aliens who like trashing empty office buildings with giant robots. You wouldn't happen to be some kind of super hero, would you?

You mean those girls that run around with magic sticks shouting about how they are for love and justice and flashing their panties constantly? Or those guys that think they're tougher than steel and run around deflecting bullets, punching bad guys in the face and knocking them into jail cells? No, I'm nothing like that.

Uh, what? No... that's... not exactly what I meant, no.

I mean, just like, a person that has not-so-natural abilities that uses them for the greater good which usually means protecting earth from whatever tries to harm it. You know, think a cop with the ability to float through walls, or make invisible shields, or turn their fists into whatever their touching.

Oh, no, then I'm nothing like that. I don't really go around trying to protect the Earth or anything. I'll protect someone if they mean a lot to me but I won't run around trying to make sure everyone is safe. Is that what I was brought to this place to do, 'cause that sounds like a lot of work.

It's just that, well, I was kind of part of a team back home. And I was thinking, although it's probably highly probable here, that I could get another one going. Assuming there isn't one here already. Kinda forgot to ask.

Uh, well, I don't exactly know. Yet. I figure it'll be sort of an investigation team. And then, you know, uh, some sort of... rescuey team... thing? Like, I know weird things happen at midnight. And some people might be caught out in it without realizing? So, yeah.
