So everybody who was a zombie is alive again, everybody who was killed by zombies is alive again, and nobody remembers anything weird happening at all, which is kind of unexpected even for this place.

[They remembered him killing somebody, anyway.]

No civilian casualties, and... two not-civilian casualties? That's how many I heard. I guess it could be worse... But really, I don't know how to explain people not remembering something as big as that.

It looks like it. If the pieces are reset every time a new game starts, then that's a really good comparison.
