I can't...really say for certain. It would be wrong to claim I am another person now, but there are things I did as Lancer I would no longer do now.

I suppose so. But what did you mean to ask, initially? I'm sure not everyone has such issues as having changed their name.

I have lots of names. I'm an Aristotles, Type-Venus, Heavens Corpse. I have names given to me by people I've never spoken to. I've never really had to use a name with someone face-to-face.

...oh. Well, in that case I suppose it's a reasonable question after all.

I'm not entirely certain how to answer. I don't even know if modern humans would consider such things.

I'm not sure what it takes for someone to truly know who they are. I would imagine understanding oneself to be no simple matter, surely.
