Hello! I don't think we know each other, but I'm sure me being here is some kind of mistake! If you're the one who brought me here, I just... I want you to know there's been a mistake! I don't have anyone to pay my ransom, and I wouldn't make a very good experiment or meal or hostess or any of the other things that teenage girls get kidnapped by crime syndicates for!

What do you know about it so far?

To begin with, none of us fully understand why we have been called here--it seems to be a city in the United States somewhere.

Second, once the clock turns to midnight this place seems to change, though it may sound strange to hear. If you've been taken here like several others have, I would assume you will experience it the same as we do.

This world...the colors of it seem to distort, and black coffins stand where living people did only moments before. More than that, the streets seem to be populated by strange black creatures--

...forgive me, I must sound completely insane telling you all of this so suddenly.

And... what happens then? Do they hurt the people in the coffins?

Not that I'm aware of. Those that turn into coffins seem to change back once the entire ordeal's over. It's those of us that retain our form and consciousness that those creatures seem to go after.

Should I try to stay awake at night?

So far, the hotel has seemed to be safe enough at night. I wouldn't advise going elsewhere after midnight, at least not until the city returns to normal.

How long does that usually take?

As of right now, I'm not certain--all the clocks seem to stop working, and I've not found any other way to measure how long this distortion lasts.
