Quatre (Accidental video)

*Albedo's phone is lying discarded on a side table in Albedo's apartment room, recording him sitting with a length of cloth bandage within arm's reach, a knife in his left hand and his right hand unusually bare. He curls his fingers briefly, pressing the tips of his long, pointed nails into the red 667 tattoo on the middle of his palm before opening his hand again and slashing the knife across the number. Instead of reacting in pain, he closes his eyes and lets out a pleased moan.*

Ahhh...that ought to do it. How frail this body is, though, that even this much is the limit of what I can safely inflict.

*The video ends as he reaches for the bandages and starts wrapping his hand, although he clearly has no practice in such things.*

*He was expecting Nigredo to try to pull him down with him, so this time he'll be doing his best to make sure Nigredo's the one getting used as a cushion.*

[Considering the fact that Albedo thus lands on something a lot more soft then the floor, we can assume he succeeded. Gaignun may have gotten the breath knocked out him but he recovers quickly, trying to twist out from underneath his heavy older brother.]

*Quit squirming, you're making it hard to sit on you. He tries to keep his spot on top of his brother, but soon ends up having to roll off to avoid being knocked over. He is, however, going to give a parting gift of a controlled kick to the stomach.*

[That earns Albedo a slightly cranky glare and a sharp yank to the cape which Gaignun is now using to haul himself up.]

*Urk, he was using that windpipe. He's too busy trying to keep the cape from putting uncomfortable pressure on his throat to try to yank it free, and inadvertently ends up getting blood on his shirt from the cut.*

That's cheating...Nigredo.

Oh? I thought you liked it when I didn't play fair? [However he does let go of the cape once he's got a knee under himself. That kick was a tad unnecessary after all. It didn't really hurt but still...]

Ah, your hand's opened up again...

*He glances down at his hand, then at his shirt.*

Hmm, it seems I am making a mess. I suppose I'll need to be more careful if I don't want blood everywhere.

[He sighs. Well, this is what they get for acting like children.] My fault, here, I'll fix it again if you want.

[Yes Albedo he is giving you the choice for once, after all he's confident you know how to do it this time.]

*He offers his hand, smirking. Really he just thinks it'd be annoying to do it with one hand and wants to get out of it now that he's secure in the knowledge that he could do it himself. But he can't resist the chance to tease his brother a bit more.*

[He's a little bit more quick and efficient this time, not having to clean out the cut again. Years of cleaning up Jr had made him quite practiced at this.]

You'll have to be more careful for the next few days unless you want to wear darker clothing for a while.

*He doesn't look at the palm as it's exposed, instead looking at his brother as he talks to him.*

It might be for the best if I were to wear something of that nature sometimes, anyway. I'm still working on getting out all of the stains from the undead.

Maybe you'd look less like a marshmallow. [This is muttered as he tightens the layers over the absorbent padding. He's paying a bit more attention to that then anything.]

*He folds his arms when Nigredo finishes, raising a challenging eyebrow at him.*

I happen to like the design alright? And besides, an all black suit would just be boring. [He shrugs] People seem to like it.

Perhaps I happen to like this outfit. Although I can't deny that I did prefer my old one, but that's not available to me here.

*He might kind of miss the ability to alter his clothes on a whim.*

Yeah but you like blinding people. [If you put Gaignun in an all black suit with no colour it tends to swallow him and make him feel like a black hole.] It is kind of hard to look at in bright lights.

I'll have you know that had no bearing on my opinion of the outfit.

*Mainly because he didn't need to actually be wearing a specific color in proper lighting to make someone's eyes hurt by the time he was wearing it, but...*

Really, if you say so Albedo. [He's willing to let it drop now if you are. Teasing is only funny if in short sharp bursts. But then again, he knows how far he can push with Jr., not so much with Albedo anymore.]

*He's heading back to his chair now to retrieve the glove draped over the back. He could stand having his hand and arm bare while they were shoving each other around because he was distracted, but now it just feels too strange.*

[He sighs and looks at his watch, snorting softly.] I have to go for a bit. I have some things I have to do and I should get cleaned up first. You've gotten me rather dusty.

*He pulls the glove onto his arm and looks back at Nigredo as he tugs it to untwist the cloth.*

It's starting to. Old habits I suppose. It should even out once I have a few more things set in place but set up work is just so tedious. I don't even have a secretary anymore.

You could always see if you can get Rubedo to make himself useful. Perhaps he'd learn some measure of patience.
