NPC Post

On the morning of June 30, characters under the age of 18 will find a letter delivered to them by mail

Dear Mr./Ms. (Character Name),

Our records show that you have missed the first full two weeks of the summer sessions you were signed up for. Under law children under the age of 18 are obligated to attend every day of school. Since this is voluntary session, failure to attend will not result in legal action but will poorly reflect in your overall GPA.

Attendance is essential for outstanding achievement and future success. If you have a valid excuse for your absence or no longer wish to be enrolled in the summer session, please contact the school administrative office. The summer session last until the end of July. Please remember that out regular session begins August 22nd and students are legally obligated to attend.

Our records also show that you are here with the express permission of your guardians but are not living with them at this time. As such, we offer you the chance to move into our dormitories so that you may be properly cared for during your enrollment at this institution.

Sincerely,

(Office of the school your character would be of age for)

Along with this letter will be a flyer for the reopening of a shop in town.

Grand Reopening of Felix’s Finds! Starting this weekend, Felix’s Finds, Prospero’s number one specialty interest shop is opening back up its doors after months of absence. Whether you’re a weapons collector or just interested in finding a new game piece, come down to see us.

That’s this Friday! Store hours are from 12-noon to 9 P.M.

In the newspaper (one is available for patrons in the Bayview lobby), on bulletin boards around town and in shop windows, characters may find several ads for job openings.

Fry Bucket, a local fast food joint, is looking for a new cook or cashier. The local clinic, Prospero Medical, is looking for a janitor to cover evening shifts.  Several local clothing stores are looking for clerks.  Prospero Day Care center is looking for more workers. The local bank is looking for a new teller. There are ads for dog walkers and babysitters all over the island. (REMEMBER, you are not limited to making your characters take only these jobs. This is just to show you what kinds of jobs are out there. Make up your own as long as it is realistic for your character to be able to be hired for it.)

Use this post for talking amongst characters, actions spamming, ect.
