[There's a nervous red-head appearing on the video feed. He looks rather confused, considering what happened, and all as soon as he got here. It looked like any other town, so there had to be someone that knew what the hell happens here at night.]

I'm kind of new to the city. Does anyone out there mind explaining some things to me?

The monsters you probably saw are called Shadows. They attack indiscriminately and appear every midnight for one hour. If you saw any coffins... those are what the natural people of the town transform into during that hour. The people who were brought here, like you, remain in their normal state.
