Honestly, no one of us have idea who or what brought us here and for what purpose.

Alright, so every night at midnight, there's a phenomena called the 'Dark Hour'. During this time, these creatures called Shadows appear, regular electronics don't work, and the locals transform into coffins so they don't know the Dark Hour actually exists.

Everyone on your phone's contact list however stays the same. People who had powers before arriving here, no longer posses them. However, everyone will awaken a power known as a Persona. Only through a Persona, can we effectively defeat Shadows. The more we use them, the stronger they become.

Uh...sorry for the long ramble. Did that make any sense to you, sir?

They don't awaken immediately. I know people who've been here for a while and still haven't summoned their Persona. We're not sure how or why it happens, let alone what might trigger it to be called.

You say that now, but when there's a full moon, things get tough. At that time, a stronger than normal Shadow arrives. Not to mention that conventional weapons aren't as effective compared to a Persona.
